Although I only caught one show, I've busied myself with most of the Mule Tracks from the entire tour and I'm really, really impressed. This year's Gov't Mule is hitting the note. Great jams, stellar vocals, stupendous bass, rich and varied keyboards, and Matt Abts as powerful as he was two decades ago but more nuanced.
This was a special tour.
