@robslob I was just listening to a recent Beacon Theatre interview with Derek. He talked about how they felt fortunate to have a good following and that they play the music they want to play how they want to play it and don't mind sampling their influences on some songs.
Then Derek said he was recently listening to Eat A Peach and Atlanta Pop Festival and much of the stuff Duane and Dickey are playing on those records Derek knew what musicians it came from, that Derek knows who they were listening to back then because of what they were playing in many of their solos.
Derek knows his stuff apparently.
