From the convention into the fall there was little doubt about the outcome - McCain-Palin was basically dead in-the water early on, a cobbled together ticket that went nowhere/moved no one - he was running out of duty to country

McCain was not regarded as a bad candidate nor "dead in the water". Going in he was popular nationally as a "maverick", already having had a solid bitterly-fought 2000 campaign. McCain actually surged in polls after selecting Palin in an effort to placate far-right conservatives. Meanwhile, Obama was simply running a fantastic campaign, and moved ahead for good when the financial crisis of 2008 hit in September and Palin began to run her mouth. McCain was hardly the nadir, statistically speaking.

And yet he keeps repeatedly posting about things he admits he doesn't know and/or understand.

& I’m the one who they say drinks the koolaid

no worries -

“yes Virginia, Trump is scum, all the experts say so”

howabout this for ignorance

in between sips it’s occurred to me

Dem ticket has solid collective parallel/balanced core of experience

Repub is skewed - an aging Trump, a green Vance

remark, a gem is uncovered, look at all that wisdom

some like koolaid, others pink tea…..some like Kamala, while a good-many others feel Trump should be re-elected

normally I’d pick Dem ticket as the best one for the country - it’s too much fun watching the geniuses **** their drawers over Trump tho

& to think Biden stepped down

by golly even the experts were astonished

that’s why they’re all FB now

Kamala Harris is ready to assume the burdens of the presidency more capably than Joe

still feel that way (quote prior to Joe stepping down)

her training, previously Calif AG, then Calif senator, then VP - makes her uniquely & well-qualified for the presidency - what-better ‘grooming process’ can there be than a term as VP

VP Harris is whip-smart & seems imo to have the right ‘temperament’ for/knowledge of the Oval Office

finally, all Dems are indebted to Pres Biden giving his notice - he saw the larger picture & it came to pass - his stepdown has been a boon to the overall health of the party, many say, with Harris-Walz gaining more support than Biden-Harris II would have

Continuously talking about something you don't understand is kind of the definition of ignorance.

am not that brilliant & don’t pretend to be

so once again, by way of idiotic ignorance

& sips of koolade that are now swigs

….w/the election 2 weeks away, Americans wonder

….do we want the poised polished proven political professionalism & cultured smarts of the Vice president

or the free-wheeling, unwieldy blue-collar plain-speaking rhetoric - some call it diatribe, others criminal - of the Ex-president

-

it’s right in the media, that’s proof positive, saw it just now, it’s a published report as of about 15 min ago

“Trump still paying off Stormy w/hush money”

Remark, doesn’t that make Stormy guilty by association as an accessory after the fact - after all Trump has already been found guilty & is awaiting sentencing in federal court

but again - this is ignorance, not others, posting right now

many, like me, see it like the World Series - there’s really little difference on close analysis - again, no offense

in truth the majority think both candidates stink & are taking the “none of these candidates” option that was listed on this spring’s primaries - “none of these candidates” actually won primaries in some locales

remark, I endorse both candidates

& next month will support the return of Donald Trump to the White House

as enthusiastically as Kamala Harris winning it

they’re both fine Americans - fair-minded non-neurotic citizens can’t go wrong imo - all know it will be close

same WS - Yankees-Dodgiz, a WS rivalry for the ages, watta treat

where once it was Babe Ruth/Ty Cobb, now it’s Aaron Judge/Shohei Ohtani

& in the political arena, Trump-Harris

may the best team/candidate win

There it is - the end of Trump, pray his enemies

of course anyone can make a claim of wrongdoing depending on how readily they can capitalize off it

….there’ve been a few of em, now another dime-a-dozen ‘scandalous’ headline

“former swimsuit model claims Trump groped her to show off for Jeffrey Epstein”

-

“that’s proof, he’s a pervert in pedophile clothing passing himself off as presidential….” say tabloid readers

Am far from sold on Trump, but at least he returns rested up after 4 years away w/a refreshed perspective, broad support & a mandate to lead based on majority rule (election)

🇺🇸vox populi bro

Up first, sentencing day, federal court, date TBA - hush-money conviction, plaintiff, Stormy Daniels

His election negates what was the already-slim possibility of jail - the president must always reside at the White House

it also makes a joke out of our legal/judicial system given his endless charges & accusations, indictments & courtroom appearances & so forth

said it b4, once again, All Bun & No Burger - the majority agrees, so ‘nuf said

good sense prevailed for indoor inaugural - cold snap moving into DC

one recalls Ol Tippecanoe, W.H. Harrison, 9th president, being inaugurated in bad weather - became sick, couldn’t recover & died at 68, one month into his term

at 78, the same thing could happen to Trump too, so the right move outta the cold

they moved Reagan’s 1985 inauguration indoors too, I just read

one recalls JFK in coat & tie at his cold 1961 inaugural speech - w/everyone around him seated & dressed like eskimos - you could see their breath & everything, it was like the Ice Bowl of politics in a way

🇺🇸plans are already being made for next year’s grand 250th - the bicentennial was cool, esp the then-cutting-edge hi tech 1976 remakes of American film classics Superman & King Kong….still think they’re cool 50 years later - the Chuck-Lamar era came to an end around this time too

Let’s All Be Americans
