Wow!
Everything in Moderation. Including Moderation.

They have joint shows with several other artists all Spring through the Fall, including some Beacon shows. Here's the whole tour

I apologize for polluting this music thread with a tinge of political comment. Looking at the scheduled dates, I notice that the shows in the Jacksonville, FL area are scheduled for the St. Augustine Amphitheater - as opposed to Jacksonville's new Daily's Place which is (at least) co-owned by Jacksonville Jaguars owner, Shad Kahn.
TTB launched this new facility (ironically and fittingly on the day of the death of Gregg Allman). The St Augustine Amphithetare is a very nice place, but Daily's Placer is newer and has better all around facilities.
If you've watched any Jags games in the past (and I do understand why, if you have not 😉 ) - you might've seen Derek and Susan sitting in the VIP lounges. They have historically been friends of Mr. Kahn. I was wondering if personal politics might've played into the decision to schedule these shows in St. Augustine. I googled Kahn's politics and found him to be quite a supporter of the the newly elected "leader" of the USA.

Sorry again for derailing this fine thread.

It's possible, but they played St Augustine in 2024. The Amp has become a really popular venue the last couple years while I haven't seen Jacksonville on too many tour schedules. I'm guessing the Amp just got a better booking agent to become a bigger draw.
But also who wouldn't rather go to St Augustine than Jacksonville?

They seem to enjoy not playing the same sheds year after year. I know here in the Detroit area they alternate between Freedom Hill and Meadowbrook, two amphitheaters of pretty similar size and both operated by the same company (who also owns Pine Knob and the Pistons).

Looks like RVA gets Little Feat, nice

So disappointed. Paid $40 to join the Swamp Family hoping for good seats to the Pine Knob show. Get on there this morning, my queue # was 116, i was in selecting tickets at 10:01 and the entire lower half of the pavilion was Official Platinum or a handful of VIP off to the side. Every other paid fan club i’m in doesn’t have dynamic priced tickets in their presales, that’s the primary benefit of paying to join a fan club! Completely put off by this, emailed them requesting a refund and of course was told No. Now i don’t even want to go to this show that i was really looking forward to (i’m sure i’ll change my mind as it gets closer).

Did they change the name back to what it should be, Pine Knob? DTE Music Theater or whatever it was? Nope, not for me.
I think I saw the ABB at Pine Knob about 10 or so times. I'd have to find my list. The only time I saw Albert Collins was with them there.

Posted by: @jdaunt@lee They changed it back in 2002 in honor of the venue’s 50th anniversary, and luckily have not sold the naming right since!
That sounds about right with my timeframe living around there.
I got my tix today or the Chicago show in September. A little over $200 for two seats out-the-door for a show here is reasonable. This should be a great tour. I'm sure there will be a lot of sit ins.

Money supersedes politics. Bands love to perform at the St. Augustine Amp and I suspect that was a factor. Remember the band is performing at the Beacon and the Dolan family are also Trump supporters.

If you like a band and it is playing a venue you like - but feel in all good conscience you can’t attend it b/c of disagreement over the owner’s political beliefs
….thankfully few music fans are that militant
both venues sound great & sound like they have their own particular characteristics/features that make them unique - much like the Orpheum & Wang Center (formerly the Music Hall) in Boston
never liked it when bands talked about politics at shows, endorsing this cause or denouncing that candidate between songs

I caught TTB last March at St Augustine amp and loved that venue. I winter about 7-8 miles south of that venue. Checking the recent tour release, i was disappointed that the shows were much later in the year.
I look forward to the Saratoga show with the Mule a decent venue.
