Shake For Me is a great song and performance.
After some thought, this is probably the most important song on which Duane played.
This song got good airplay plus generated the initial interest Phil Walden had in signing Duane to a recording and management contract and purchasing Duane's contract from Jerry Wexler of Atlantic Records.
And it is the performance which caught Eric Clapton's attention. Clapton was so curious about who was playing the electric guitar on this song. So curious Clapton called Jerry Wexler and asked him " Who is playing electric guitar on Hey Jude by Wilson Picket?" Wexler according to Clapton said " That is Skydog Allman ".
