Allman Betts Band/Jackson Stokes

Well, just got back from seeing these guys here in Dallas at the Kessler Theater. There's 2 shows tonight, and we went to the early 6pm show. Jackson Stokes came on and played a few acoustic songs. I'd heard of him, but hadn't listened to him before. He's really good. Allman Betts Band played next & blew the roof off the place!! Great singing, playing, etc. They played several songs including Magnolia Road, Autumn Breeze, Down To The River, Dreams I'll Never See, etc. It's great that bands like this are carrying on the tradition of older classic music for new generations to hear. It was also great to hear some live music again!! I have seen a few other smaller shows this year, but this was the best!! You could tell that they loved playing onstage again!!

I saw Allman Betts Band back in October at an outdoor socially distanced show and they were friggin amazing. A really enjoyable show after a barren spring and summer last year

@jack_frost I saw them at an outdoor socially distant concert too last October Jack. They were real good indeed. A band called the Georgia something or another opened.

Thanks for the update, allmanfan21.
Did you see any tapers --- aka people with phones recording?

No I don't recall any tapers. They had a table with both of their albums for sale and on viynl too.

I saw a few people with their phones out, including me!! I got video during a bit of one song. Also bought both of their albums on CD. They're supposedly touring later in the year with Blackberry Smoke & The Wild Feathers, not sure if those shows will happen though.

Saw them with Jackson Stokes last February. Bought his album and I liked it...
