I was in New Orleans for 2 months in the summer of 1966 and a number of joints had New Orleans jazz bands and there were dozens of cats who could really play.
I dont know who any of there guys are except the great Bobby Hackett. Hackett was short and weighed 90 pounds but man could he play thr Trumpet. He had several dinner music albums too that were popular.
These guys are all top shelf players. NEVER EVER A CLAM IN SIGHT. NO CLAMS from these men.

The great Bobby Hackett doing Stardust on Trumpet. He was so good it makes you get tears in your eyes.

Bobby with the great Vic Dickerson live in Chicago. I saw Vic in New Orleans too
