Duane should be on a US postage stamp. Here's how to try for this: https://about.usps.com/who-we-are/csac/process.htm

The USPS needs lead time. Since Duane's 75th will be in 2021, this could work.

I'd love to see it but I don't think it would happen. Duane wasn't around long enough. In todays world not too many people know his name. We know he's the king around these parts but outside his name was never put on the map. This reminds me of the effort of people trying to get a Dion (DiMucci) movie going. He was big stuff years ago but his name is not too familiar nor very bankable these days. Sounds great and I would go and see it but........
P.S. I just listened to the commercial version of A&R Studio yesterday. I also still listen to Dion with and without The Belmonts.

I disagree. The Allman Brothers Band had been around for over 40 years.
New generations of fans discovered the Allman Brothers all the time. And you
can't becomen Allman Brothers Band fan without learning all about Duane. He
was voted #2 all time greatest guitar palyer in Rolling Stone Magazine long after
he left us.

I think he is as popular now as he was back when he was aliive. Maybe even
more popular.

That is my opinion on this matter.

Ritchie Valens got a stamp and he died at 17. Buddy Holly got a stamp and he died at 22. It's not inconceivable that Duane could get one. It probably requires a strong effort by fans to make it happen.

What a great idea. If this happened I would buy a ____ load of stamps. Can you imagine sending these? I would turn into an instant stamp collector of ONE stamp. Of course someone would have to blow it up to at least 8.5 x 11 or larger.
