Munck Download 10/25

Hey Folks. Has anyone gotten the download code emailed to them from Munckmix yet? I had a silver package ticket to the 10/25 show and was expecting the code within a day or two. Not sure who to contact about that!

I have not received it either.

Mine just turned up this morning (10.30.14) for Monday 10.27.14 show
Was kind of shocked 256kbps mp3 was the only option. I would have hung around for a CD had I known that . . .

I'd be pissed if that's all they're offering....lossless is the only way for me.

Yes lossless for me too, but I would say that unless the "download" description explicitly states "lossless" or "FLAC" I would not assume that it includes that. I have gone to a bunch of shows that offered a download included in the ticket price, and it is always for MP3. The funny part is that there is no material difference in price to produce FLAC vs MP3, only a relative difference in what the supplier could charge in an open market between the 2 formats.

i just received my code for the 10/25 show this AM…256 mp3 only…downloaded and I dropped it into iTunes easily enough…pretty excellent quality…though i did order the CD, as well...

Now if they'd just get to the business of putting up the 10.28.14. show (which seems a little longer than usual) I'm all in for FLAC HD. Full stop.

Not a word about format:
"Option #2: CODE The download code will be available within 48 hours of your show. An email will be sent to the e-mail address provided at the time of purchase from "MUNCKMIX Inc ", with a unique code dedicated to your email address and the download instructions. The download must be done on a computer – not a tablet or smartphone. The code itself will not expire, however once the download process has been activated, there is a 72 hour window to complete the download. "
And you're right, Brosicle. Should have caught that and been on top of game and expected mp3. But c'mon. not even 320kbps?
And the difference in cost to produce does not account for bandwidth cost at their end sending it down their pipe.
Flac is much larger compared to mp3 which is why there is the up-charge. Fair enough.
And even more fair for the up-charge on the FLAC HD etc. But since I had a choice, woulda have liked to know my download was going to be mp3 and I woulda hung for the CD . . .

I'm probably going to give my code to a friend and buy the FLAC of the discs.

refresh ... refresh .... refresh ....
still nothing for 28th

If I purchase the download from Munck, what format will be easiest to burn to a CD straight from my laptop? I have a standard Dell. Thanks!

10/28 is available from www.abblive.com I just downloaded it.
