The entire religious freedom argument is a joke. The Obama administration just deported many Iraqi Christians who were here on State Department issued visas because there were being persecuted in Iraq because of their faith.

And, since you can't remember, Bernie Sanders is that candidate that is most in line with my beliefs. I seriously doubt that he will get the nomination. And since other than Trump, we really have little idea about what the GOP candidates stand for, I can't support any of them at this time. That could very well change over the next 11 months. Right now, if Clinton were to get the nomination, I most likely would vote for her as at least the Democrats have tried to do things over the past 7 years.

i tend to think mr trump only has about 20-40 million supporters. i think the GOP brand is broken, as they said themselves after the last election. i said early on.....go fact check my early comments....that he is really in the race to help mrs clinton. he may....lol....may get the GOP nomination but it is still doubtful. whatever happens in the GOP field they have no chance of winning. i said that many years ago.....pre 2012...post 2008. i recommend to those here who fight with the trump supporters to keep that in mind. it is not worth the effort to get yourself worked into a lather over their comments. most of the other GOP candidates have said things similar to Trump. they have no chance at the presidency. they only have the chance in some gerrymandered areas to elect troublemakers to the House. sure that is causing problems....but....it will not determine where we go in the future.
just don't allow yourself to be sucked into their hatred, understand it sure, refute it sure, but don't let it bother you.

Just under 14 months to go.
Hopefully we will not suffer another terrorist attack in the interim but hoping doesn't stop evil.
The next big problem will be Obamacare. Half of the Obamacare exchanges either have failed already or will by the end of this month. The largest provider in the exchange system is United Healthcare and they are working fast to get out of it. They must report to their shareholders before then end of this month on how the company will stop the financial bleeding.
Many of the deferrals Obama granted to political supporters expire soon too and the premiums are skyrocketing.
There is a provision in the ACA for a bailout. Considering the election coming fast the democrats have a serious problem coming soon.

I think we need to cut off trade with the Saudis. They behead people. They whip folks to death in public. They foment a lot of the Muslim extremism.
I'd love to see a President with enough balls to turn off the Saudis oil spigot, impose gas rationing on all Americans, close our Middle Eastern bases, and make an ambitious push toward renewable energy. We need to get out of the Middle East and let those folks sort our their own problems.
