Seeing how you condemned the Clintons for Bill's actions, I am awaiting your condemnation of Trump's actions.

Double standard.

Trump admits he said it, and he will respond to the backlash about it during the debate on Sunday. If Hillary goes down that slipper slope criticizing him for saying it, well, he can say worse about Bill.

Aren't you the guy on another post who despite discussing women's cooters, expressed his dislike for such lewd talk.

Was your outrage FAUX then or is it FAUX now?

News Flash: Bill Clinton is not running for president. That's right, Hillary is the candidate and she has done nothing like what Trump has done. That's right folks, Trump doesn't have a leg to stand on.

And that was the weakest apology ever. That's right, folks, you don't apologize and attack someone at the same time.

Funny you said this considering a judge green lighted Trump's trial for raping a 13 year old girl yesterday (which somehow got lost in the media over the recording). Three aligations of rape against Trump, one of which is heading to trial.

You haven't told us what you think of Trump's words and actions. Do you think just a little locker room talk and guys being guys? Good enough for you to think Trump will still make America Great Again?

Bill is on the ballot?

I'm just glad we can put to rest the false narrative that the Republicans are the party of family values and morality.

His words and actions were in line with two things, American culture, and the freedoms and rewards our culture gives to celebrities, rock stars, and rich people. Rock stars do the same things that he did. In Gregg's own book he called himself a pu**y hound. So it is okay for rock stars, but not for politicians? Movie starts live that way too. Their fans will give them anything, anytime. Our culture supports this, it is one of the rewards of being successful right?

My own opinion is as a culture we would be better off incorporating some Islamic values. In colleges young men and women are encouraged to drink to be social, get laid as a right of passage into adulthood before going out to work. Success is defined as being able to have what and who you want. Your focus is money, making lots of it affords you those perks. Doing anything for humanity? Oh that's for missionaries, confused young people who join the peace corps to find themselves.

In Trumps case yes it was locker room banter as he originally said. Why did he say it and do such things? American culture and way of life. It was not unique to only him. Those who are casting stones at him probably have some indiscretions to hide also. What matters is that you learn from it, and change. He has settled down, he has a wife, family, raised responsible, successful children who are decent. He is an accomplished businessman, entrepreneur and yes I do think he can lead the country based on his positions on the issues. He was no choir boy raised in a seminary. Bill was a great President admidst his own personal indiscretions, my remark was that if Hillary wants to condemn Trump for comments/behavior from 2005 (eleven years ago), he will bring up what Bill did, and if he says something like 'your husband had a few indiscretions, but he was a great President, wasn't he?

Is a man's libido indicative of how good a President he will be? If so then I will be a great President, as great as your husband was', or something to that effect.

And now CNN is reporting that Trump has made similar remarks on the Howard Stern show over a 17 year period. Among the things he discussed were Ivanka's breast size and kicking women out the door when they reach the age of 35.

Nice spin, O'Goobs, played like just like Trump and Pence would: if it's indefensible, change the context. It's not just the word, the Left has called Trump a "pussy" plenty. And it's not just the Left that doesn't like grope talk from their Presidential candidate. Even Melania Trump found his remarks "unacceptable and offensive to me." Mike Pence condemned the remarks. Paul Ryan has canceled a Trump/Pence event because of the remarks. Anyone who is human and respects women finds this kind of talk indefensible.

Except you, apparently, O'Goobs. I can respect a difference of opinion, but not blindly defending a man who brags to "grab them by the pussy" and that he would sometimes "just start kissing them." If you think that is OK to do or brag about, then your opinion doesn't much matter.

Apparently, the creature who posted this believes Bill Clinton IS on the ballot and can't stop ranting about that. The poster, a Trump acolyte, refers to women's cooters which I find so repugnant that I think he should STFU.

BTW, what no one seems to get is this was not locker room talk (not that Trump has seen the inside of gym in his adult life.) This was a business conversation. This was an NBC sponsored junket/appearance to help promote its new reality show built around an unknown outside New York and New Jersey real estate scion Donald Trump, son of the successful Fred and brother to the successful Robert Trump.

The newlywed Trump/novice reality TV personality was headed to do a cameo on an existing NBC show as a promo for the new reality show. He was a mere employee back then; he didn't have a producer credit; he didn't have back-end points. The woman who was the subject of his lewd ruminations was the bona fide star of another NBC show. She and her show were promoting their network's product. He was nothing more than a cog in the NBC network machinery kind of like a Real Housewife of New York on Bravo appearing on another Bravo show.

So it's ok to have affairs and disparage women if your rich or famous? Did you support the light sentence to Stanford rapist swimmer Brock Turner because his father was a rich? If you have a daughter, I feel sorry for her. I'll never understand a woman who excuses rape culture.

No, no, no. Trump has consistently said the expiration date for a woman is 28.

the left melting down is to be expected or any other rational person reacting to a man bragging about sexual assault. but you can't pin on the left all of the GOP elected officials abandoning him unless of course you believe.....hell i don't even know what the belief is. i guess it is that these republicans care more about what the left thinks than people in their own party? their supporters?

this was more than boys being boys and locker room talk. guys don't talk about assaulting women when they are not around. there is a difference.

This last thing was small beans to me. He has said at least a dozen things over the last year that any one of would have derailed him by now. Somehow Trump keeps getting passes. His supporters don't care if he doesn't know anything. They don't care that he is a pig. They don't care that he lies about his income amount. They don't care that he stiffs workers out of pay he owes them for work done. They don't care that he has insulted everyone in the military from POWs to the generals to a Gold Star familiy. They don't care that he says stupid and careless things about foreign policy that he obviously knows nothing about. They don't care that he has a man crush on Vladimir Putin. They don't care that he won't release his tax returns even though they are the only thing that can prove that he is what he claims to be which is what he claims as the reason he is the man for the job of POTUS. Will this latest log on the fire make any difference??? I doubt it with his stubborn supporters. I am beginning to think that Trump's claim that he could shoot someone and not lose any supporters is true. He lost me in the very beginning when he insulted McCain's service and every single POW who ever served and sacrifices their freedom so Trump could have his and make a fortune off of little people's backs, make and or lose millions, and not pay any taxes. He is a POS in every way but his supporters seem to want to go down with the ship guns blazing. Let them. Maybe Gulliani and Christie can open a lemonade stand after standing by this mentally ill crazy moron. Their life in politics is over.

The left is melting down?

WASHINGTON — Republican leaders began to abandon Donald J. Trump by the dozens on Saturday after the release of a video showing him speaking of women in vulgar sexual terms, delivering a punishing blow to his campaign and plunging the party into crisis a month before the election.

Fearing that his candidacy was on the verge of undermining the entire Republican ticket next month, a group of senators and House members withdrew support for him, with some demanding that he step aside. Mr. Trump, however, vowed to stay in the race.

The list of party figures publicly rejecting Mr. Trump included a host of prominent elected officials, perhaps most notably Senator John McCain of Arizona, the 2008 nominee.

“I thought it important I respect the fact that Donald Trump won a majority of the delegates by the rules our party set,” Mr. McCain said in a statement. “But Donald Trump’s behavior this week, concluding with the disclosure of his demeaning comments about women and his boasts about sexual assaults, make it impossible to continue to offer even conditional support for his candidacy.”

And in an unheard-of rebuke by a running mate, Gov. Mike Pence of Indiana, the Republican vice-presidential candidate, declined to appear on Mr. Trump’s behalf at a party gathering in Wisconsin and offered him something of an ultimatum on Saturday afternoon.

“I do not condone his remarks and cannot defend them,” Mr. Pence said, adding, “We pray for his family and look forward to the opportunity he has to show what is in his heart when he goes before the nation tomorrow night.”

By early evening, no fewer than 35 Republican members of Congress and governors who had not previously ruled out supporting Mr. Trump disavowed his candidacy, an unprecedented desertion by the institutional Republican Party of its own standard-bearer.

Trump admits he said it, and he will respond to the backlash about it during the debate on Sunday. If Hillary goes down that slipper slope criticizing him for saying it, well, he can say worse about Bill.

Good point, big difference between saying and doing. Trying to compare the two is fruitless.

Somehow Trump keeps getting passes. His supporters don't care . . .

68 always nails it. Way I see this, Trump's supporters not only don't care, they love the crap he is pulling. He is the god of anyone who ever wanted to be offensive but was constrained by decent society.
