Trump Cautious re CDC Vaccine Overdose Schedule
I'm starting to like this guy. Hip approach to the 9-11 mystery, and has gone on record since the election as skeptical of CDC megadoses of vaccines for babies. Nice break from MonsantObama and the Clinton Big Pharma gestapo.
Here is a quote from Trump's reply when CNN tried to bust him on this issue:
Trump : "Autism has become an epidemic… Because you take a baby in, and I’ve seen it, and I’ve seen it, and I had my children taken care of, over a long period of time, over a two or three year period of time, same exact amount, but you take this little beautiful baby, and you pump – I mean, it looks just like it’s meant for a horse, not for a child, and we’ve had so many instances, people that work for me, just the other day, two-years-old, two-and-a-half-years-old, a child, a beautiful child went to have the vaccine, and came back, and a week later got a tremendous fever, got very, very sick, now is autistic. …I’m in favor of vaccines [but] do them over a longer period of time, same amount, but just in little sections. I think you’re going to have – I think you’re going to see a big impact on autism."
I agree with every word.
Most of us here on the board grew up with less vaccines than what is forced on the kids nowadays, we grew up just fine, except for those who get shingles from the chicken pox virus. Once we secure our borders and do not have so many diseases coming in from less developed countries than ours, maybe they can cut back on these things. And maybe they can also admit to the contents in those flu vaccines. We already had threads about the squalene in there.
Given the total lack of interest in Trump's views on vaccination and 9-11, on both sides, it is pretty clear that it will be business as usual on these issues.

Exactly. Halt all vaccines immediately.
Assuming sarcasm, mocking extremism. Just because someone doesn't want to stick their kid with the full schedule doesn't mean they are anti-vax. No need to halt vaccinines - just ease up on the trigger, and don't allow the CDC to become an enforcement arm of the government. We don't need mandatory vaccinations.

The response was directed at gina, and only gina.
Appreciate the clarification - unusual courtesy for the WP prison yard thx. Although I don't see things the same way.as Gina, I have found myself allied with her on things like vaccines and 9-11. Gina tends toward extremes, and seems to have accepted info that I am not convinced of, while I have been backed into a corner by simply asking questions.
That is probably my top concern these days, the instant adoption of whatever idea fits our script, and hostility on all sides, liberal and conservative, towards empircal inquiry.
Overuse of vaccinations, and especially antibiotics, can lead to the development of vaccination-resistant strains of bacteria through mutation, but Autism and vaccinations/bacteria have nothing to do with each other. Children are born with Autism and it occurs just as often in populations where there are fewer vaccinations, not to mention, it predates vaccines. It just happens that Autism wasn't defined until more recently.
Porkchop Bob, you speak English and use science - the exact opposite of the Trump quote that starts this thread.

It encompasses too many diseases and overlaps with other diseases so children are misdiagnosed. Still, there is scientific evidence that in populations that are getting all these vaccines, there is a higher incidence of these diseases.
They were going to allow vaccines in Pakistan, till they saw some of their children become paralyzed after receiving the nice US made vaccines. Then they withdrew permission for the kids to be vaccinated.

You are talking about two different things.
Vaccines are used to fight diseases caused by viruses and bacteria that attack the body and cells, typically that young children whose immune systems are still developing can't fight off. They have effectively controlled or nearly eradicated Measles, Polio, Tetanus, TB, Smallpox, Meningitis. That's not to say that faulty or fraudulent vaccines can't be harmful - if children are acquiring diseases from vaccines, there is likely something wrong with the vaccine. The reason people in Pakistan are getting paralyzed is because they getting freaking POLIO because they don't allow vaccinations or it. http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/features/2015/03/pakistan-polio-problem-vaccination-danger-150328091807399.html
Autism is a developmental disorder that children are born with, as opposed to a disease that one catches. Because Autism affects communication, it typically isn't recognized until later in a child's development, when speech is normally developed (unlike mental retardation or fetal alcohol syndrome, which have physical characteristics). The exact cause is unknown, since the spectrum is wide, but it appears to be genetic in nature.
In 1998 a researcher named Andrew Wakefield presented fraudulent research that vaccines caused Autism, and anti-vaccination proponents used it to perpetuate their cause. For some reason, people still cite it as evidence that vaccines have anything to do with Autism, even though it is been completely refuted and fraudulent. It did cause a brief drop in vaccinations which resulted in an increase in measles and mumphs (as well as deaths).
Maybe The CDC has some of that swell Swine Flu Vaccine they can share.
