Putting together a cabinet and making appointments. He's not merely passing out candy to his buddies or people he gets along with and just filling slots. Rather, he's putting together a team to accomplish a mission, even calling in adversaries like Mitt Romney who trashed him not so long ago.

That says a lot about a man and a leader, not holding grudges and keeping personal feelings out of it....He's focused on whats necessary to get the job done. Trump doesn't have the mind of a politician, he has the mind of a business administrator, such a welcome change!

I like the fact that he is looking to people who he has had disagreements with or rivals. I think however maybe that it might signal that he has a small pool among candidates to choose from, which not being a politician that isn't really surprising in that he just doesn't have relationships with alot of the people that would normally be appointed to these positions.

One thing I do not like is that he may not be filling these positions with people who share his views. Like Secretary of State...Trump has some pretty unique views compared to Republican party establishment...so don't name a Republican party establishment type for that position, find somebody that shares some of your views.

That and if it ends up just being a whos-who of Republican establishment types I will be disappointed. I like reaching out to rivals, I would even like to see him reach towards a independent type or blue dog Democrat type - but the Republican machine would allow that. I think the Republican machine (ie establishment) is having and will have much more influence over his Presidency than anyone might have thought and that is a big disappointment since it appeared we were getting something different. Time will tell, but I'm pessimistic how it is shaping up.

Ran as a party outsider, appoints far-right veteran Party insiders. That's not breaking the mold. So far we have the head of the RNC, an Islamaphobe, the head of a far-right news media site, and a guy who thinks pot is evil.

Yeah, keep 'em coming.

This is what I'm seeing. Since he has no experience, he seems to be deferring to those insiders who do.

Did you really have a straight face when you wrote that? We are talking about the same guy who got butt hurt by the cast of a Broadway play after an incredibly peaceful and honest exchange with the VP. He is quick to demand an apology, but to racist bigots he has emboldened to intimidating minorities in his own name, all he can say is "knock it off" only after being confronted by a 60 Minutes reporter. That's not leadership.

The only “minorities” Donald Trump intimidates are the left-wing loons, the criminals and illegals. Also known as the only people left that support the Democrats.

And the lack of leadership in our country will be out of office on January 20th.

Sorry about that, but when you hold public office you open yourself up for a lot of criticism. Pretty much comes with the territory.

Of course Donald Trump has never claimed Chapter 11.
Chapter 11 is personal bankruptcy but you would know this if you were informed.
Yet again you demonstrate your ignorance.

The statement is correct and Trump as head of his corporations has gone through Chapter 11 four times. Chapter 7 is what individuals usually use for bankruptcy although they can claim Chapter 11 as well.

I would think twice before using the word ignorance in the future and this way you won't get bit in the a$$.

Wrong again dumb$$.

Donald Trump has never filed Chapter 11.
Four times Donald Trump related companies have filed Chapter 13 which is reorganization.
After the courts approved those companies reorganization plans all four completed their plans in accordance with the court orders.

Get informed son or STFU.

I never said that HE personally did. My point is, if he fails as a President, a country is not a business and BUSINESSES OF HIS have claimed Chapter 11 four times. You totally missed the point.

"Trump proudly insists that he never has had recourse to Chapter 13, the personal bankruptcy code. This is his apparent justification for saying that he’s never been bankrupt. But of course one of the purposes of Chapter 11 bankruptcy is to keep men such as Donald Trump out of Chapter 13 bankruptcy."

Tell the President-elect this. Not even in office and he's already butt hurt like a teenage girl at Broadway actors and SNL. Abraham Lincoln is a little jealous of Mike Pence's reception at the theatre.

"if he fails as a President"

If.

Is it because Obama has failed so miserably as President you hope Donald Trump fails?

Typically Mule, changes the conversation when presented with facts that refute everything he believes in.

I never said I hope he fails, in FACT I've said the opposite, stop arguing points that don't exist (that's what TROLLS do). I hope he doesn't fail, I'm an optimist, but he did just settle a $25 Million fraud law suit and got pissy at Broadway actors over the weekend. Not encouraging.

Chapter 7 is liquidation, used by individuals

Chapter 13 is voluntarily entering a debt-repayment program, used by individuals

If he deletes a tweet he sends after 1/20, is he in violation of the Presidential Records Act? 😛

Censoring free speech again huh?

The White House has had almost all of Michelle Obama’s tweets removed.

Delete!
It is the Hillary Clinton and soon to be Obama way.

But you weren't referring to the object of the criticism. You were referring to the people doing the criticizing. You were also referring to men in general who do the criticizing, and how it relates to character. Just saying, you may want to examine the past eight years of posts you've made here.

Donald Trump recognizes intelligence and integrity regardless of political party affiliation.
Tulsi Gabbard resigned as a vice chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee to endorse Sanders when she saw the corruption and hypocrisy at the DNC.

Not all liberals are corrupt.

President Elect Trump has cancelled the order for a new Air Force One, over $4 Billion. He considers the cost way out of line and made a business decision not to proceed. Good for him.
