Livestock methane emissions are a significant factor in methane output. The argument is not about "farting cows contributing to global warming" but whether or not methane is a "greenhouse gas" and where you stand on global warming. So it boils down to saying AOC is an idiot because she thinks global warming is partly caused by methane.
Whether or not global warming is a myth, many highly regarded and extremely intelligent scientists do support the idea that methane contributes to global warming. So AOC stated in layman's terms what many scientists are saying.
Though you may disagree with them, there are plenty of people who are concerned about global warming whom you would not ridicule for their position.
