The 2016 Republican Primary
What are your thoughts as to why/how Trump won the primary?
Who gives a-shite now? Worry about the 2020 democrat nominee. Start by asking, is your last name clinton? If yes, do not passs go. Next question, Are you a socialist?

Haha...Right on
Who gives a-shite now? Worry about the 2020 democrat nominee. Start by asking, is your last name clinton? If yes, do not passs go. Next question, Are you a socialist?
Hysterical. Goob is still ranting about Hillary, but we can’t comment on how the Moron-in-Chief got the nomination.

Fair enough, maybe we can talk about how Hillary LOST to the "Moron-in-Chief"....lol

By all means, start a thread about it.

Seriously, How does one lose to a Moron?
"Seriously, How does one lose to a Moron?"
It is a solid question, especially because throughout history, there have been several times when leaders rose to power despite what seemed like terrible handicaps.
Look at who ruled the major nations over the course of the 20th century, and you see plenty of ineffectual leaders and even despots who gained popularity and control, leaving later generations to reflect on how some of these people did get to sit in the The Big Seat.

Millions of morons voted for him. You'd have to be moronic to think he was qualified, even more of a moron to continue to tout his presidency after he has proven to be even more stupid after his election than was abundantly evident before last November.

All that being said, what kind of Candidate can't outsmart and defeat a Moron?
As I expected, the scared and threatened Trump supporters exposed themselves as the cockroaches they are. Look at the extreme defensiveness and hostility! The primaries have nothing to do with Clinton, yet they bring her up anyway. It’s so obvious that Hillary is their scapegoat that they use because they are ashamed to admit they like Trump’s trash behavior. Trash voting for trash so they don’t look so bad. So threatened by Obama’s popularity and class, that they react like a mama bear protecting her cubs, and elect the exact opposite to cleanse their scared inferior souls. Ironically, such dysfunction among these cowardly racists has created an association of the black leader being intelligent, kind, and positive, while the white leader is childish and angry, LOL. My original post was simply asking you why you wanted Trump over the other 17 candidates, and I get “Hillary” from the usual folks. Sad they don’t have the courage of their own convictions. Sad!

The sad part here is the simple question asked, can not be answered. No one in this thread is defending the President or in the most remote sense claiming to support him. He has been referred to here as a "Moron" which by definition is : "A person of mild mental retardation having a mental age of from 7 to 12 years and generally having communication and social skills enabling some degree of academic or vocational education"
Since he is the President and was elected to that office, someone must have opposed him. That person was Hillary Clinton. Fact.
What can you say about someone who loses an Election to a Moron?
That "someone" happens to be Hillary Clinton.
There you have it.
Look at the extreme defensiveness and hostility!
There's a laugh out loud moment!
"Cockroaches"
"trash"
"racists"
"black leader"
"white leader"
Now I ask, "Exactly who here is being hostile"?
Pot, meet kettle
What are your thoughts as to why/how Trump won the primary?
No, I guess you meant to ask, How he garnered the Nomination? Instead, your vague inquiry was.... quote: "My original post was simply asking you why you wanted Trump over the other 17 candidates"... Two entirely different questions.
Which primary?
Now I ask, "Exactly who here is being hostile"?
Pot, meet kettle
Yes, I am being hostile towards Trump and his minions. Does that change the fact that you and your buddy Goob became hostile from the scary question that you still cannot answer and instead deflect to Hillary.
That person was Hillary Clinton. Fact.
What can you say about someone who loses an Election to a Moron?
That "someone" happens to be Hillary Clinton.
There you have it.
There I have more deflection and a failure to address the question.
I guess you meant to ask, How he garnered the Nomination? Instead, your vague inquiry was.... quote: "My original post was simply asking you why you wanted Trump over the other 17 candidates"... Two entirely different questions.
So then split hairs and don’t answer the question. It just proves my point that his supporters are too ashamed to answer.
Which primary
Go back and read the thread title.

First, this is wrong. Second, why can’t someone share their thoughts as to why he won the Republican primary if they didn’t vote for him? Is there a magical force that prevents individuals from exploring this?

You are too funny, using these terms:
"Cockroaches"
"trash"
"racists"
"black leader"
"white leader"
....and then accusing others of being hostile....
omg, please
Nothing wrong with hostility when directed at scum. You and Goob got bent because of a question that you refuse to ponder because of the scary thoughts that form. I originallly asked everyone to share thoughts on the subject, and instead you deflect to Hillary and unravel when challenged. “You’re hostile too so I won’t answer”. Good one! Next time you mention how liberals are intolerant, I’ll just say “pot kettle”, and pretend like i got somewhere.
At least you don’t deny the content.

OK, genius, how did Trump win the nomination?
BIGV was going to engage and provide his opinion as to how Trump got the nomination, but because I was hostile, he won’t answer. Sad!

If you get him to engage, that will be a first. All he is capable of is saying you are wrong and bailing.
The how/why Donald Trump won the nomination is the same reason he won the Presidency.
The people wanted a change after the complete and utter failure of Obama and Donald Trump had a proven track record of professional accomplishments and brought a clear and concise message while his opponent was known to the people as corrupt, a criminal and habitual liar who had no message and no plan for anything.
The robust U.S. economy now proves the people made the right choice.

Well at least you were able to answer without being so offended as to run off because I was too hostile.
I agree that a lot of people wanted a change.....from a black leader to a white one. Congrats Mule - by electing a white man who is hostile and immature, you made the black man look kind, mature, and professional in comparison, which is probably the exact opposite of what you wanted.
This thread is truly amusing. First for the Dumbasses asking:
Trump (The Moron) got the republican nomination the same way he won the presidency. He got more votes than those he was running against. Yes, the Moron didn't just beat the Hag he also beat 16 Republicans. And no I don't care to hear you whine about the popular vote because it is irrelevant.
This one is priceless!

Oh yes the "Food Stamp" President. Or... maybe America was ready for:
1. Lower unemployment
2. Higher wages
3. Stronger economy
4. Stronger foreign policy
5. Lower taxes (it's coming)
Maybe the thought of MAGA was just more appealing to America than more of the same BS.
It's ok to be upset, your side lost. We know, remember, elections have consequences? Almost as good as items 1 - 5 above (and then some) is getting to enjoy the meltdowns over here on a daily basis!

Tolerance huh? Liberals crack me up!
Who said I'm a liberal? I voted for Bush.

How is this relevant to my comment about their personal character? When did I talk about policy?
Maybe the thought of MAGA was just more appealing to America than more of the same BS.
MAGA is meant to be open to interpretation. What does it mean to you? Just curious.

Meltdown? That's how you see it? Such a tired old act. It jumped the shark a long time ago. Anyway, there's something to be said about why so many people overwhelmingly chose Trump over the 17 other candidates. It speaks volumes actually, and I'm hoping to hear a Trump supporter explain their side of it.
I believe that the right-wing of America was utterly disgusted/threatened (whatever we want to call it) by Obama, in the same way they were threatened by the poise and influence of a peaceful MLK. Feeling like they were under attack for 8 years, they needed the exact opposite of Obama for payback. Obama was black, mature, kind, inclusive and professional. Trump is a genius and knew this. So he became the opposite they were looking for - white, immature, hostile, divisive, and unprofessional. That's why the election was over the day he made the comment about the Mexicans, as i predicted on this site that very day. The other side to this coin is that humans aren't designed to hear about every single horror story from all over the world on a daily basis, in detail, straight to the palm of our hands. Our minds are consumed with the world's problems, instead of being consumed with their real life in front of their faces - quality of home life, work, health, personal relationships, etc. Add social media incitement from both sides, and we're getting the cold civil war we see today.
Who said I'm a liberal? I voted for Bush.
I said it. Which Bush did you vote for? I am not sure that excuses you from liberalness. 😉 And people do change. I voted for Jimmy Carter 😮
[Edited on 12/1/2017 by KCJimmy]
W. Bush. I liked him. I would've voted Republican this time around, but not in a million years with Trump as the nomination - not because of any policy, but because he is a rude, ignorant, divisive pig, and that is more dangerous than you might believe.
Hey Big V...? Serious question... I think you used to sell wine. Did you lose customers after you came out of the closet as Nazi?
Hey Big V...? Serious question... I think you used to sell wine. Did you lose customers after you came out of the closet as Nazi?
I believe I was asked earlier "Why Trump got the nomination"...The above "serious question" is exactly why. There was zero serious discussion about the election prior to. Anyone stating their support for Candidate Trump was absolutely shouted down.....Look through this thread and take note of who does the name calling, accusing & so forth. State an opinion contrary to the beliefs of Mr. Keller, Boynton Brother, Pops & Billy B. and the crap starts flying. Tolerance? Please. Who brought out the racism card? Who here asked about being a Nazi? Who referred to the President as scum?...Who called the President a Moron? Which person here defends Hostility? Who used the term "Cockroaches"? I was accused of "unraveling" and "getting bent" when no such thing occurred...Who in their right minds wants to engage in conversation when this type of ineffectual, infantile response awaits. All because your opinion is different.
This is why Mr. Trump won, this is exactly why.
Which primary?
Go back and read the thread title.
---------------------------------------------
I have. May I add that the thread title is vague. Most states have "Primaries". The candidate with the most delegates is awarded the Nomination. The question clearly asks who won the primary, to which I replied "Which one"?
Here comes the old "You know what I meant" response. Clearly, for one who can be so quick to judge others for their opinions in what he believes to be clear, concise wording, surely getting the thread title correct should have been a walk in the park.

My mistake. So if you have good character it doesn't matter if your policies suck? It is my opinion, and I am not alone, that our previous President suffered from both a lack of character and bad policies. This probably helped Trump win.
Maybe the thought of MAGA was just more appealing to America than more of the same BS.
MAGA is meant to be open to interpretation. What does it mean to you? Just curious.
To me it means just what it says - Make America Great Again. This MAY still be the greatest country on earth but the USA suffered under the policies of Barak Obama (see the policy stuff). Trump is already moving us in the right direction and whether you admit it or not it is the democrats slowing him down. Question for you: What makes you so certain that "MAGA is meant to be open to interpretation"? It seems pretty straight forward to me.
It's ok to be upset, your side lost. We know, remember, elections have consequences? Almost as good as items 1 - 5 above (and then some) is getting to enjoy the meltdowns over here on a daily basis!

Dude you are totally confused. The RIGHT was threatened by MLK? Check you history son. Are you one of those that tries to attribute the Jim Crow Laws to Republicans? The right was fed up with Obama, you got that part right. And now you have President Trump. As for why America chose Trump over 17 other Republicans see my policy issues above and better yet READ THE POST ABOVE THIS BY BIGV. NAIL ON THE HEAD. This is a blast!
