Chicago Torture Suspects Charged With Hate Crimes After Anti-White Comments

The suspects who allegedly tortured a man suffering from mental health challenges in a horrific video shot in Chicago have been charged with a hate crimes after making anti-white comments and forcing the victim to make anti-Trump comments.

The decline of black culture in the Nation’s inner-cities is a deep and sever problem. The media is avoiding this horrific incident as much as they can because assigning blame, their usual knee-jerk reaction would go against their agenda.

Politicians are also avoiding this issue. Will any politician admit that government cannot solve cultural deterioration?

Where are the protests?
Where are the calls of “No Justice, No Peace”?

Hope they put them under the jail. I will say that it is very embarrassing that the CPD did NOT consider this a hate crime at first. Sad situation, and what is worse is that they all probably already have children.

Judge denies bail for 4 suspects in Chicago torture video
Published January 06, 2017 - FoxNews.com

Four charged with hate crime in online torture video

A judge denied bail Friday for the four suspects accused of beating a mentally disabled man and streaming it live on Facebook.

The four appeared before Cook County Associate Judge Maria Kuriakos Ciesil who asked them, "Where was your sense of decency?"

As seen in the horrifying video that appeared online this week, a young, mentally disabled white man was beaten, threatened with a knife and taunted with profanities directed at white people and President-elect Donald Trump. The suspects, who are black, face charges including hate crimes and aggravated battery.

"I find each of you a danger to yourself and society," Cook County Circuit Judge Maria Kuriakos Ciesil said, sounding baffled that the suspects who hold jobs, attend school, live with grandparents and, in one case, care for a brother in a wheelchair, could stand accused of attacking the 18-year-old victim. How, she wondered, could she agree to allow people accused of such "terrible actions" walk out of jail?

Prosecutors offered new details of the assault, explaining that one of the suspects demanded $300 from the victim's mother and that the beating started in a van and continued at a house.

The suspects are accused of forcing the victim to drink toilet water and kiss the floor, stuffing a sock into his mouth, taping his mouth shut and binding his hands with a belt.

The suspects include Brittany Covington and Tesfaye Cooper, both of Chicago, and Jordan Hill, of suburban Carpentersville. All are 18. A fourth suspect was identified as Covington's 24-year-old sister, Tanishia Covington, also of Chicago.

Hill was arrested in 2015 on allegations of armed robbery, possession of a stolen vehicle and residential burglary. Chicago police said they did not know the disposition of those arrests by suburban officers.

Tanishia Covington was arrested in 2007 on attempted armed robbery and aggravated battery charges. Police records do not show any convictions as a juvenile. As an adult, she was arrested on charges of battery and aggravated assault, but those charges were dropped.

The 18-year-old victim, who is from a Chicago suburb, suffers from schizophrenia and attention-deficit disorder, authorities said.

The incident also stirred emotions still raw after a presidential election campaign that split the nation. The case heightened political tensions on social media, with some conservatives suggesting it was linked to the Black Lives Matter movement. Police said there was no indication of any connection.

Excerpts of the video posted by Chicago media outlets show the victim with his mouth taped shut and slumped in a corner of a room. At least two assailants are seen cutting off his sweatshirt, and others taunt him off camera. The video shows a wound on the top of the man's head. One person pushes the man's head with his or her foot.

A red band also appears to be around the victim's hands. He was tied up for four to five hours, authorities said.

The incident began New Year's Eve, when the victim and alleged assailant Jordan Hill met at a suburban McDonald's to begin what both the victim and his parents believed would be a sleepover, police said.

Instead, Hill drove the victim around in a stolen van for a couple of days, ending up at a home in Chicago, where two of the other suspects lived, Detective Commander Kevin Duffin said.

The victim told police what began as playful fighting escalated. A downstairs neighbor who heard noises threatened to call police. When two of the suspects left and kicked down the neighbor's door, the victim escaped. A police officer later spotted the bloodied and obviously disoriented man wandering down a street.

The victim's parents reported him missing Monday evening, two days after last hearing from him. The police report said the victim's mother knew the first name of her son's friend — Jordan — but wasn't clear on his last name. The report also noted that the victim "does not like telling his parents who he's with."

The parents later received text messages "from persons claiming to be holding him captive," police said. While investigating the messages, police discovered the Facebook video.

The gruesome video is just the latest sign that criminals have been “emboldened” to lawless acts, not just in Chicago but across the country, former Chicago Police Supt. Garry McCarthy told Fox News.

"Unfortunately, this is becoming the new normal," he said on "America's Newsroom."

McCarthy said that despite nationwide outrage, political leaders respond to such crimes with a collective shrug, giving criminals the confidence to act again and again. "The more outlandish the incident, we're horrified, but there's no reaction to it."

The Windy City's former top cop stepped down in 2015 amid accusations of a cover-up over the police killing of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald. A white police officer shot the black teenager 16 times. Police said McDonald had lunged at officers with a knife, but witnesses said that wasn't true.

Judge Maria Kuriakos Ciesil to suspects: "Where was your sense of decency?"

How do you revive a damaged culture?

A good place to start:

A Family starting with both a Mother and a Father.
Respect for all life.
An education.
A job.

Does everyone agree with everything in the Constitution? I am all for cruel and unusual punishment for people like these. I think we need more cruel and unusual punishment for some of the horrendous people convicted of heinous crimes we hear about.

Okay, in The Constitution is laid out how to change, or amend.

In today's political climate it ain't gonna happen.

In this case I highly doubt we will see and legal (politically motivated) game playing, plea bargaining or light sentencing.
But stranger things have happened.

Politicians and the corrupt liberal media are avoiding this attack like it is toxic.
This would be a good time for those to be quiet.

MULEBOT ERROR. ERROR. DATA CORRUPT.

WTF are you talking about? The media is hammering on this, it's front page on every paper - and it looks like these kids are going to get punished to the full extent of the law. The judge is pissed off!

Wrong junior.
The Washington Post, a liberal blog dumped the story into a minor side mention.
These are not kids. They are adult criminals and a product of Chicago; a city controlled by and run by Democrats, their failed school system and a ghetto black culture who hold no morals and values.

Over 4,000 shootings and over 750 murders; 92% of which done by blacks.
That is what you get when people vote for liberals. Dead black people and out of control racism.

A useless and ignorant retort.

Why is it okay that if a city is run by Democrats the genocide occurring in the ghetto is okay?
When a mentally challenged white man is tortured by racist blacks we hear no outrage from the left.

Typical liberals. Your politics outweigh your morality and any sense of humanity.

Keep it up. Your population control of the blacks seems to be working out just fine for you.

i guess accepting that premise for all countries around the world would cut down on all the wasted time and sanctions over human rights.

i know you are not serious though, a statement of frustration i think.

Mule my friend, i have to disagree. this story is as front and center as it can be. we are in the middle of a very heavy news cycle. Russian Hacking, Airport Shooting, Cabinet Appointments.

i don't think we all need to overreact to everything the left or right does. that is part of the reason we have crimes like this occurring i think....whether left or right. we need to remember that each of us are better people than these criminals.

i don't know how we get back to all of us being on the same side but i hope we can find a way.

Mulebot You are a petty vicious and ignorant hypocrite. You leap at any opportunity to use a tragedy for a soapbox. The attackers were denied bail, and are being dealt with by the justice system. There is plenty of outrage, from everyone, even though you seem to think you are the only person who cares.

What are you talking about? Look through this thread. Have you seen anybody either left or right that isn't outraged? So why don't you cut the crap. Everybody is outraged, not just those on the right. Moron

my interpretation on mr. mule is kinda like trump, if someone is going to call him names or stupid or whatever....he will respond in kind. i have no trouble disagreeing with him, nor he me, but if you guys haven't noticed, he doesn't attack me. some of things he says i am very against but its really not worth my time to get in a fight with him and again, nor he me.

lol, least i think thats the way it is.

The Mulebot does this every time. Accuses everyone of not caring, while pretending to be upset, then immediately starts in on its anti-liberal program. Its motherboard seems to be pretty simple, a few basic hardwired circuits, Heathkit level. Whatever it is, it certainly was never, or is no longer, human. It is either a sociopathic troll or a paid provocateur, or a program designed by Google to provoke consumption of bandwidth.

We were bound to start seeing this phenomenon as we vanish into Cyberia, human keyboard controllers transforming into online entities, pure infobots, nothing more than the sum of their programned reactions to internet stimuli, electronic spirits with zero realworld accountability, impulses of pure hate and hurt, digital demons.

Well, risking whatever good impression you may have of me, no I am serious. Somebody mentioned Dylan Roof...I think he should be dismembered alive and then thrown to a shark to finish him off.

People who inflict evil on others should have evil inflicted on them. To think that somebody might have sympathy for a death penalty sentenced criminal if their lethal injection doesn't go "well"....I say good, make it as painful as possible.

I should say I reserve this torturous punishment for those who we know for certain they committed the crimes in question. You know, the likes of the Aurora movie theater shooting. I am aware of the risk of wrongful convictions and I don't want to put an innocent person to death or subject them to this cruel and unusual punishment I speak of if they were in fact wrongly convicted. But if we know, in a case like Dylan Roof, of that animal Kohlhepp in South Carolina...torture that piece of shit to death they deserve it.

The four individuals that did this in Chicago that kidnapped and tortured that poor disabled person should have kidnap and torture inflicted on them. Put them on a raft in the middle of the ocean and leave them for dead for all I'm concerned. Our society has no use for people like this.

When a mentally challenged white man is tortured by racist blacks we hear no outrage from the left

Here's an example: I've a friend on FB who is extremely upset over Trump's election. I mean the "I will not be quiet" kind of mad....Anti-Trump everything including a video of a media incident about 30 days ago that had an elderly white woman shouting at a Mexican woman for cutting in line. "Why don't you go back to your own country" and so on. This was posted on his FB page with the header "Angry Trump voting racist" and had comments from about 5 of his Trump despising friends stating that this type of "Racism" and vitriol is what is wrong with this country. FF to this Chicago incident and nary a word, not an utter of a sound from any of these "friends" of mine about this violent racist act where not only was this kid beaten and verbally abused, But "F" Trump can clearly be heard on the video......

Many of the media mouthpieces refer to the victim as "The Trump Supporter".

After a week of the race-baiters decrying the hate crime charges as racist and that the “teens” have lived under “white oppression” all of their lives there really is no way to give them any credence. They simply will not acknowledge that racism works both ways. Hate controls them.

So far "white people" have not rioted, have not burned their towns done, have not shot police officers and expressed empathy for the young man.
A different response than many other recent events.

Maybe your FB friend is not a psychopath and is truly mortified by this tortue video like everyone else, but wanted to highlight a concern that our next President behaves poorly like the elderly woman shouting at the Mexican.
