After eight years of giving his Muslim Brother Terrorists a pass and preventing our military from winning The War on Terrorism President Trump is correcting the failures of Obama.
Oh, the lefties don't like it.
Nobody cares what the lefties think.

I thought he was pulling out. Isn't he going to take the money we are wasting in Afghanistan and rebuild America's failing infrastructure?

Outstanding speech by President Trump.

- A clear mission defined.
- No more arbitrary timelines to fit a weak political agenda
- Command and Control returns to the military and the War on Terror will not be regulated by political operatives in the White House
- Our soldiers in the field will no longer have rules of engagement that are so strict they prohibited them from winning
- No endless list of what we will not do
- Conditions on the ground will guide strategy
- Combat aircraft will be able to fly and fight again
- Terrorists must be killed to the point they stop permanently
- Support for local governments if they actively participate in the War on Terror
- The resources needed to win will be available
- Our military members and their families will get the support the deserve
- This effort is not nation-building. The mission is to defeat terrorism
- The U.S. will no longer carry almost the entire burden of the cost

Soldiers will no longer have rules of engagement that are too strict? What does that mean?
'Terrorists' - who are the terrorists, local native Afghans that are fighting for the sovereignty of their land? The Taliban do NOT accept or abide by the precepts Isis has, yet the govt. only shoots at the Taliban.

Not nation building, then why are we there? I read recently we are creating a permanent base in Iraq, we do not ever plan to leave there, is that an indication of what we will do in Afghanistan also? The solution to the problems in Afghanistan is joint states. Let the Taliban live in their areas, encourage Isis to get out of there, and if you want to bring democracy to the areas where people want it, then do so. Work it out. A two state solution is a solution for Afghanistan, that would not work in Israel and Palestine, but it could work in Afghanistan.
