It is important to know the points and positions of the Republican nominee candidates because later on they will endorse and really support for others even if they drop out of the race. The election in 2016 will create a pivotal moment in the history of the United States.
Marco Rubio wants to KEEP GITMO OPEN, and send more people there and is for torture.
Yet he will tell you he is a godly man. Well God would not like the tactics used at Gitmo. Rick Santorum put his support and endorsement behind Marco Rubio when it became clear his own presidential bid was not going to be successful.
Chris Christie has said that Rubio's speeches are all written by his handlers, and that he cannot even answer questions from reporters on his own. That is a pretty bold statement, but it that is true, that would make it very dangerous for Rubio to become President, because others would be pulling his strings.

Then there is the matter that some of Cruz's supporters suggested that Ben Carson would be dropping out of the race, so his supporters should come over to HIS side in order to stop Rubio, but Ben Carson had not announced that he was dropping out of the race.
Bernie Sanders has been pointing out that of the 25 Million dollars Hillary's PAC came up with in donations for her, 15 million of that came from Wall Street backers. Most will remember that the US taxpayers had to bail out Wall Street, if her backing comes from them, could we be put in that position again when the economy tanks?
Trump - well he speaks pretty well for himself on the issues, so most of you know what he thinks.
Rand Paul said he was going to continue to help local politicians in their races with the Liberty Party.
So what do any of you like about any of the candidates? Or is it just entertaining reality tv political style?
When I look at all the candidates I am thankful that our government has a strong system of checks and balances.

He went on record as being favor of partial birth abortion a few years back. That ain't the song he's singing in Iowa.

Yeah, but, that's not that surprising.
The candidates will probably do well in the states where they had prior supporters. Hillary did not have a lot in New Hampshire, Bernie did because New Hampshire is near Vermont, his home state, so they know what he has done there. He did a very good deal on health care in his home state, there actually IS affordable health care there for people of his state.
Rubio said that everything he does is in accordance with his faith. But he thinks Gitmo is a good thing, and wants to send more prisoners there. Last I checked torturing people was never part of God's plan for anyone, and violating our Consitution by keeping people without due process in a prison of another country (rendition) also violates our Constitution. So how can he honor the laws of our land by such practices? He's been in the Senate, does he NOT know that our govt. paid $500 cash to locals in Afghanistan if they could point out where there were Arabs any Arabs who could be rounded up and hauled off to Gitmo?
If you are living somewhere, and people come shooting and bombing you, wouldn't you shoot back? Whether or not you were part of any organized militia or not? In some cases, I said SOME not all, that is what happened. The people rounded up were left overs from the first war, who settled in that land.

1.) The detainees (Islamic Extremist Terrorists) housed at the facility at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base are not entitled to due process as they are not U.S. citizens.
2.) The facility at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base belongs to the U.S. and not some “another country”Would you prefer that they were killed on the battle field?
