General H.R. McMaster, US Army lieutenant General Keith Kellogg will be his Chief of Staff. The press had different things to say about why Robert Harward turned the position down, but I did read somewhere that he had not been able to pick his Chief of Staff due to Washingtonian policy, which has not been changed.

http://presstv.ir/Detail/2017/02/20/511408/Trump-names-new-national-security-advisor

"In 1997, McMaster wrote a book entitled “Dereliction of Duty,” which was critical of military officers in the Vietnam War for not challenging President Lyndon Johnson and Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara over the White House’s Vietnam strategy".

We should due our due diligence regarding the new National Security Advisor, at least we know he is his own man, and not afraid to say what he thinks. That is a good thing.

Appears to be a pretty universally praised pick.

Being known to challenge authority, seems to give Trump critics some confidence he can act as a counter weight to whatever concerns they may have with how Trumps other advisors weigh intelligence and decisions related to such.

Some may've wanted a more diverse individual with greater knowledge outside the military realm, but atleast compared to Flynn I think everyone will breath a sigh of relief if not possess confidence with him around Trump. Or the other bright side is that it isn't Bolton.

Hope he sticks around a bit. Brings some recent tangible military success to the table and hopefully he can translate that to taking intelligence and crafting foreign policy with it.

Hey Scott

McMaster was my nephew Keith's mentor and he speak very highly of him. Keith has him as a teacher at West Point. He later served under McMaster in the artillery in Iraq where Keith got his purple heart and bronze star. After Iraq, and teaching at West Point, McMaster was instrumental in Keith going to the think tank Rand.

When Keith got wounded in Afghanistan, McMaster travelled to visit him in the hospital. Keith is now at Pentagon working primarily on Russian strategy so i think his path may cross again.

Anyhow from a decorated Army guy that I respect (of course he's my nephew), McMaster is supposed to be a straight shooter that is not afraid to speak his mind and he is very progressive.

And BTW was so nice to see Army win this year!!!! LOL

Interesting.

President Trump’s newly appointed national security adviser has told his staff that Muslims who commit terrorist acts are perverting their religion, rejecting a key ideological view of other senior Trump advisers and signaling a potentially more moderate approach to the Islamic world.

The adviser, Lt. Gen. H. R. McMaster, told the staff of the National Security Council on Thursday, in his first “all hands” staff meeting, that the label “radical Islamic terrorism” was not helpful because terrorists are “un-Islamic,” according to people who were in the meeting.

Good point Mike. I have brought up several times the differences the Afghan fighters had with Isis and even some Al Qaida and Pakistani fighters in terms of what they believe is allowed fighting wise per the religion of Islam. The Afghans understand jihad better than the other groups; however, al Qaida thinks more globally and are trying to gain the upper hand/have an edge for when all hell breaks loose on earth and the anti-Christ rises. They want to be in a position of power and dominance by the time that happens, so they fight now to get to that point. The Afghans just want to be left alone, live peacefully in their lands, and not have any foreign troops on their soil. They do not believe they should and will not fight beyond their own borders. The permissibility of children in the battlefield, suicide bombings are things where there are different opinions among the groups.

Most people believe that 'terrorist' attacks are wrong. That going into cities and bombing or killing people is wrong. However, Osama brought up the question, "where is the battlefield?", 'where are the boundaries, if there are boundaries, then why does the west not adhere to them, they think it is fine to come here and bomb us in our homes and towns, but if we do that to them, they say we are terrorists'. Basically different rules for different peoples. So where is the battlefield?

Our army said they could not recognize the Taliban fighters as fighters because they did not have army uniforms and fight under an organized army, so they asked if we get uniforms, can you then regard us as a legitamite army for the Afghan people? The answer was still no, with no good explanation.

There is a lot to consider. IF (and I know this will not happen), we took our troops our of foreign countries, including Nato countries, and let each country defend themselves, then the only wars they would have would be a) internal or b) if some invading country comes there trying to take them over. Eventually, when the anti-Christ does rise, ALL nations would have their own state sovereignty, could ban together at that point to form a worldwide coalition against him. What our military actions have done is dilute the fighting capabilities of these other nations, so that they will be defenseless when the anti-Christ rises. Does Egypt have a viable military? Does Libya? Iraq? Our actions have made it easy for one big army to take over large portions of the world.

That is why Isis will not stop, nor will Al Qaida, they will lead the army that fights the anti-Christ, and it will be a combined army of all of them that rises up with the 200 million fighters and comes up from Egypt (prophecied in Ezekiel) to go fight for Jerusalem. Russia, China and Iran will fight against the U.S. (Ezekiel Chapter 38).

No one in Washington seems to have understood this, OR they have understood and have been deliberately been working for that New World Order, who will have the anti-Christ at the head of their administration. Trump is not among the New World Order which is why they try so hard to block his efforts, and why they want him out of office.
