Muleman is back, so I am out

It's been fun (most of the time), hope everything works out for each and every one of you. Go Pats!
Peace out.

I agree. He hadn't posted in these threads since 7/28. Now he is here to gloat. where was he when things didn't look so good for him? Hiding under his rock. The boy is a complete asshole.

I concur.

Now he is here to gloat.
You would be doing the same with your all too familiar condescending tone had HC won....

What a load of crap.
I knew from the beginning Donald trump was going to win and also knew that what the liberal kids were posting here was just their regurgitation of what the corrupt liberal media was feeding you.
As it tuned out, I was right.

Perfect ending for Barack Obama. Each time he wonders how Trump is the President, a good look in the mirror is warranted.

Perfect response.
The American People just exclaimed their rejection of Obama's Presidency.

Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this way, but the tone of this site over the past year, certain members, turning anyone that thought they may vote for Trump into the enemy, made coming here a drag - so if those members visit less, it may make the site more fun again.

This works too.

Calm down, this isn't anything close to a mandate. This was an incredibly close election. Trump received fewer total popular votes than Romney did in 2012. This was apathy and fatigue, voters touching the stove to make sure it's hot.

No, Don, you're not the only one. It's not just those that might vote for Trump, as there are some people who would post here that were never inclined to vote for him in the first place, but anyone who espouses a conservative viewpoint on any talking point is derided unmercifully and their intellect is put in question. The condescension is particularly insulting when the source themselves are barely literate. Admittedly, there are some posters who come here and deserve the derision, but they generally just come here to bait the others.

Get over it.

You may want to re-read what he wrote.

FACTS: the President-elect has consistently told more lies and has been taken to criminal and civil court more times than Hillary Clinton. Try looking at the whole picture and not what you want to be true.

No facts to support your “the President-elect has consistently told more lies” other than what the corrupt liberal media fed you.
“Taken to court” is an empty line. How many times has Donald trump been convicted of a crime?
Exactly, you have no answer.
Hillary has avoided criminal prosecution because Obama refused to allow his Justice Department to do so and uphold the law. That will change come Jan. 20th.
Try looking at the actual facts for a change.

The definition of "mandate" may differ from person to person. Take a quick look at the electoral map. Does it look Red to you?
Presidency, House, Senate, Governorships. Game, Set, Match. I guess you would call this an endorsement of Liberal job performance?
Amazing that the Republicans pulled this off in light of the Demographics, young voter problem, hatred of women and minorities, which supposedly makes it impossible to win.

Perfect ending for Barack Obama. Each time he wonders how Trump is the President, a good look in the mirror is warranted.
I highly doubt he's wondering anything, and I would bet the farm he doesn't regret a thing. Yes, Obamacare was a failure, yes he's made some mistakes, but there is no arguing that he has always shown kindness and class. And for anyone to show hatred and hostility towards a kind person, just because they made mistakes, makes you all a piece of sh*t.

Listen, I'm not going to get into this. The election is over. But to call Hillary a habitual liar, when Donald Trump lied about what he himself said, which isn't the media telling me, that's his own twitter account, is ignoring the facts (not to mention, lying about what a late term abortion is, etc). If it makes you feel better to call one a liar and a criminal, go ahead. The facts are that neither have ever been charged with a crime, and after extensive investigations, no one can name a potential charge for Hillary Clinton.
But hey, keep regurgitating your one news source.

All he did for eight years was whine, cry, and point fingers (particularly during his first term.) Plus, just about everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie. Real class act.

As I've said, the Democratic base didn't show up, for whatever reason. Hillary was not a candidate the left got motivated for. Trump's supporters were absolutely more enthusiastic for him. Take a quick look at the numbers, the fact is the election was incredibly close, and neither party got the numbers that came out in 2012. It's easy to look at pretty colors, but just because a state is RED, doesn't mean it wasn't close to going the other way. No one would ever call an election with the difference of a few thousand votes in swing states a "mandate". 1984? That was a mandate.

I think it sounded that way to you and countless others because of the way he looks.

None of this is true.

it's true if you despise that a black man is in charge.

Exactly right.
It is no wonder why Obama is considered by the American People to be the worst President of the modern era.
After his complete and miserable eight year failure:
The Republicans control the Executive Branch, The Senate, The House of Representatives, 34 of the 50 Governorships and 32 of the 50 State Legislatures and soon The Supreme Court.
The Democrats control nothing.

I read that 65% of trump supporters are the under educated, well they will be the one's hurt the most so you get what you ask for. trump's win isn't even a week old and he is already back peddling on his campaign promise's. trump supporters enjoy your 4 years what a lying asshole!

Muleman, your false and unsubstantiated platitudes are endlessly entertaining. With the conviction you have for stuff you make up, you could be Trump's press secretary.

I think President Obama served honorably and has a lot to be proud of. He got Bin Ladin. He led the nation through a terrible financial crisis. While there's still work to do, the nation is better off than it was 8 years ago. He wasn't perfect and I disagree with Obama Care but overall, I'm satisfied with the job he's done.
As for President Elect Trump, I think he's a terrible man and I'm sorry that he will be our President (I didn't care for Clinton either). That being said, the people spoke. I hope he proves many of us wrong and focuses on leadership and working on a united front.

He's stated that very thing since being elected -- that he wants to move the country forward on a united American front -- I think he has the best interests of the people in mind
I say withhold judgement until he has a chance to show what he can do
it was Reagan & GOP in 80s
Clinton>Dems in 90s
Bush>GOP 2000s
Obama>Dems 2008-present
It's the GOP's turn now -- they control the house & senate, so maybe wrangling over legislation/pending bills etc., might be reduced
I say everyone should become AMERICANS, be positive & supportive

This election turned out to have a lot of meaning and a lot of true feelings have come to the surface.
America won't be "coming together" anytime soon. The lines have been drawn and they deepen by the hour.
Those who are hated need to stop trying to "go high" or listen to what the one that hates you has to say, or just sit back and take it.
Enough.
