Megyn Kelly and Newt Gingrich go toe-to-toe
Did anyone else see this? Wow!
Newt Gingrich tells Megyn Kelly, ‘You are fascinated with sex’
The former Republican House Speaker Tuesday criticized the Fox News host's coverage of the presidential candidates.
NEW YORK — Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich has told Fox News host Megyn Kelly she is “fascinated with sex” amid criticism of her coverage of sexual misconduct accusations against Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
The heated exchange came Tuesday night on Kelly’s program. Kelly responded to Gingrich’s comment with a chuckle and asked, “really?” She went on to say she’s “not fascinated by sex,” but is “fascinated by the protection of women” and added that she had a responsibility to cover the accusations.
Gingrich accused Kelly of under covering Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s remarks in paid private speeches. He also accused her of ignoring former President Bill Clinton’s sexual history.
Kelly closed the conversation by instructing Gingrich to take his “anger issues and spend some time working on them.”

Giuliani, Christie, Gingrich...the list of formerly seemingly reasonable politicians who have become fanatical zealots keeps growing. Has Trump changed them or just given them licence to be their true selves?
I stopped watching her she is so anti Trump, never got over their earlier disagreements. No surprise her ratings are in the tank. Viewership plummets after Oriley and goes back up at 10 pm, when Hannity is on. In fact, he is now the most watched out of the three.
Maybe the Clinton News Network is accepting applications.

None of that has anything to do with the interview. If popularity and ratings are so important to you, how can you support Trump whose popularity and poll numbers are so bad?

She showed a bit of respect to women and herself...again re: Trump. That should be admired and not picked apart, goob.

That doesn't mean all that much if you believe that Trump never did anything wrong in the first place. 😉
Who cares what this life long assclown says??? Anyone who would take this guy seriously about anything need to have a brain scan. The man whose top priorities when he was running were to colonize the moon and turn poor kids into custodians in their schools. He is and always will be a brainless moron.

I don't think it's a matter of being fanatical zealots but more to do with their own narcissism. All three of these people simply have latched onto Trump out of some desperate need to be in the lime light, hold the reigns of power, etc. should Trump get elected. Certainly their blind dedication will ensure a powerful place (and the potential for more wealth attainment off the complex into the future) in a Trump administration.
For Christie it also may be to keep his ass out of prison and/or from going bankrupt should the the bridgegate scandal expand into a deeper Justice Department probe and from what are sure to be some civil lawsuits.

And there you have it. It's no longer about politics, it's now about mental health. Are you in the medical field?
The strangest part of the whole deal is that CNN spent 20 or 30 minutes talking about this. I don't recall one network giving another free advertising to this extent before. Oh well, more "free PR" for Trump, and in this case, FOX News.

News reporting is not free advertising, especially when the person they are covering come off looking like a fool.
If anyone doubts how deeply politics is mired in confirmation bias, just take a close look at the reactions on both sides to this exchange.
Yankees-Red Sox. Bears-Packers. Lakers-Celtics. Red Team-Blue Team.
Politics has become merely rivalry sports, except in this game, people judge others about who they are and how they live their lives.

I've actually noticed this, specifically in some of the responses around here, as if there is a divide separating one side from the other and they are rooting for, rather than supporting issues and behavior. I have never registered for one party or the other until this year (I grew up in a state with open Primaries). I'd like the best candidate to get elected, and considering the GOP is running away from their candidate says volumes. But the die hard fans will always blindly tow the Party line, as if one side of the aisle is infallible.
This is also a fault of the media over the past 2 decades who have, in an attempt to appear neutral, avoided talking about the issues and facts candidates put forth (until this year), and rather discuss the horse race and strategy like it's a football game at half time. It's interesting to know why candidates are wearing white pants or a red tie or choose to run the ball rather than throw, but it's also helpful to discuss whether something is an outright lie, like the completely irresponsible statement that late term abortions means ripping a baby out of a woman at 8 months 29 days (typically that's called a C-section and both parties survive, assuming both parties are relatively healthy). It's incredibly obtuse to fail to see the failings of the candidate that one supports since there has never been a perfect candidate.
Also, go Packers!

Could not have said it better....well done.
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,
Ol' Newt "sorry you're dying of cancer, babe, but I'm leaving you on your deathbed for a blonde 23 years younger than me, and I know I cheated on my first wife so I could marry you, but hey, I'm cheating on you even though you're dying" Gingrich and Donald "Grab 'em by the p***y cause you can get away with it" Trump….divorces, affairs, assault boasts…yep, the Republican party is very open about where it stands as a bastion of morality. No wonder Goob and Alloak are so in love. I recall Goob posting something about a "hedonistic sewer" - don't look now, son, but you're swimming in it up to the point on your head.

There is a stark contrast between Trump and Ms. Clinton policy wise. Huge difference. Everybody knows Trump has his flaws. They are out in the open for everybody too see, but it's still an easy choice for me based on policy differences.

Policy differences? Like increasing the deficit 15 trillion? This according to the Brookings institute. You figure you know more than them? Here, in case you really do care…

Policy differences?
Correct. Policy differences. The differences are pronounced, much more so than in some past elections.

Correct. Clinton has actual policies. Trump has slogans.
He's morally slimy and surrounds himself with slimy amoral opportunists, has no policy experience, runs businesses into the ground, claims to have his fingerprints all over the hires at a sham "university" that hired coke heads and child molesters (look it up), is a narcissistic fascist ("It's Rigged! Jail my opponent!") egomaniac attacking the democratic process itself, loses his mind at the slightest provocation, screws subcontractors and drives small businesses out of business, has no idea what he's doing or talking about, calls a million-dollar loan "small" (quite the man of the people), brings dicksize into a presidential debate…yeah, he's the clear choice.

Name them, with specifics. You've railed about deficits in the past - cite academics who say that Trump's policies will reduce deficits.
I noticed you erased my link to the Brookings report stating that Trump's tax policy will increase the deficit 15 trillion. You have as much courage as Trump. What a chickenshit thing to do. Here it is again, weasel. No wonder Trump's your man - you both seem to suffer from "small-ball".

Every huffpost above the fold headline for the last 6 months into a one patagraph rant. Well done.

None of which has as thing to do with his actions as a politician. A Cub Scout he's not, everybody knows that by now and he'd probably be the first to admit it. I'm more concerned about what he could do, not what he's done.
After years listening to liberals make fun of and criticize any adherence to morals or a moral compass, they sure got sanctimonious in a hurry. Amazing flip flop.

What policy proposals??? I am waiting to see his first actual one? Oh wait, yeah I did hear something about the same kind of tax cuts that W gave out when he was elected which were supposed to trickle down to the middle class and create jobs but ended with us hemorrhaging jobs and set us into the great recession. Real smart proposal. NOT!!!

You erased the link twice, You are clearly intellectually intimidated, run away from an intellectual challenge, display weak character by deleting the link instead of defending your position, wish to suppress data, and are cowardly. Trump's kinda guy.
