President Trumps actions and policy are continually reported as what "Trump supporters want", even though he is Pres for all Americans.
Pres Obamas agenda and policy were always reported as "What's best for America"
Media delights in playing these games.

I have no idea what you're talking about. I haven't either refered to that way. You'll have to provide a bunch of examples if you want me to believe this is something widespread.
