Man, it's weird seeing so many people/spectators stacked right up against each other.

I was wearing a flowery hat, drinking a mint julip and loving the 12-1 odds thanks to Medina Spirit. 😀 Shoulda put more $ on it.

That was Kornacki's pick. A Baffert horse in double digits. Soup and sandwich was a pretty horse, faded, started strong may've finished among the worst 3.

All those people!  This could lead to outbreaks of Hoof in Mouth and Equine Encephalitis!

From what I read it was 51,000 people compared to 150,000 which it normally does.

The Indy 500 is going to go with 40 percent capacity, 135,000 fans.

Those are about the numbers I saw but it sure looked more dense than that.

I thought the way the people were lined up, "stacked" was the term that came to my mind where they were lined up by the fence watching the horses come onto the track.  They were standing between 6 to 12 rows deep of people tightly packed in those areas.  Like people might be at a general admission concert.

Suppose those are the types of things we can think about doing, just looked so odd after not seeing it.
