So look at this incident this way, you might change your opinion. The media has spent alot of time trying to paint a picture of derrranged Trump supporters wearing red hats and roaming the streets looking for trouble. So when Smollet can forward the media failed to do basic investigative reporting to see if the story made any sense. For starters, it was like minus 20 at that time due to a polar vortex and liquids are getting tossed and not freezing. Or that he never dropped his sandwich. The media all ran with this story and bought this story hook line and sinker without any evidence and wanted to use it to falsely paint Trump supporters as capable of this.
it was a highly charged racial story that was in the vortex of the 24 hour news cycle going on for at least a couple of weeks. Very damaging to take this highly charged story and run with it. I mean he was on GMA and no one asked any real questions.
