I think it's pretty obvious that Holm had superior coaching. Rousey looked unprepared and defenseless.

OUCH!!!

Holm's movement & superior boxing/kickboxing skills took the power out of Ronda's ground game/judo skills/general striking skills -- one never knows, but a rematch probably wouldn't be much different

Ronda also did herself no favors by not touching gloves -- she should just concentrate on films now

Rousey predicted her own defeat, Holm did exactly what she needed to do.

For more of that? I doubt it -- it's got the look of Foreman-Frazier, or Pryor-Arguello, Hagler-Antuofermo etc etc -- rematches just more of the same

Ronda has her face/faculties/film career to think about -- yes she didn't touch gloves but I'm still a fan -- guessing she'll forego MMA for the forseeable future

don't quite read that as predicting her own defeat -- indeed tho, there are many variables -- too many, in Holly's game 😮 😛 -- confident, well-conditioned athlete &, barring a sudden arm bar 😮 the outcome would be no different 9 times outta 10 --

I read a few weeks ago that Rousey was really, really down after this fight............one article actually said suicidal. I don't know if that's true, but I have to wonder if she isn't evaluating whether continuing as an MMA fighter is really a sane thing to do. After all, she's got brain damage to think about, and, man, did she ever take some hard blows to the head. This may have been a big wake-up call for her. It's one thing to evaluate your occupation when you're delivering all the punishment.............this fight lasted 1-1/2 rounds, and if I'm not mistaken, one of the announcers said it's the longest fight she's ever had. She's used to walking in and obliterating her opponent in the first round.

I was glad that she got her butt kicked. The media hype was getting so stupid. Talk that she could kick Mayweather's a*s in a fight. One punch from Holm messed her up from the start, imagine Mayweather hitting her.

Then she was made to be some undefeatable genius of MMA. There wasn't any challenge so she beat women not on the same level at all. What bugged me was she wasn't gracious at all. Kick their butts and then trash talk.

The first challenge that she gets and she gets all messed up and it wasn't even close. Loses and then talks about suicide? She is no fighter. Had no problem hitting others but gets hit and quits.

Now roles like Roadhouse where she will be a bouncer kicking all the guys butts. Gimme a break.

She wants no part of Holm as she knows the exact thing will happen. Doesn't feel like eating through a straw. That is smart.

You could tell at their weigh in that she was afraid. Again she was trashy while Holm just stood there. Rousey knew what was coming.

She is no Hollywood beauty either as the media makes her out to be. All hype and no substance.

LMAO! Ok that may have been a little too aggressive. Just got so sick of seeing/hearing about her. At one point the sports media kept proclaiming her as the most dominant/top fighter pound for pound. Just stupid. Not her fault but she got caught up in the hype to. Plus unsportsmanlike with every opponent and it is supposed to always be them?

But she is smart and will avoid fighting Holm.

Gee what an amazing champion Holm turned out to be.

Holm beat her up pretty well. Tate just got the choke hold and held on for dear life. Good for her. Did what Rousey couldn't.
