I watched a documentary last night on the AHC Channel, not sure what that is, it was on the rise of Hitler during the late 20's, through about 1933. It was absolutely terrifying in the the similarities and parallels in the way Trumpler has conducted himself!!! The 2 cases are damn near identical, eliminate, all Balance by minimizing or eliminating other branches of government , eliminate all opposing views, take away personal rights and always have a scapegoat (liberals, Hillary, Obama) so far, with Trumpler and Hitler, their progress has been almost identical , convincing and indoctrinating a vulnerable 35% of fearful white citizens, and 3% of rascist, white supremist, through a strong and extremely high tech false social media information and propaganda machine, supported and driven by none other than Vlad Putin and his KGB??? I am hopeful it won't work here, I hope we are a little more intelligent than that, a little more just, fair, incusive and understanding, plus the fact that our beloved 2nd amendment has made sure that every American, liberal or conservative, is very heavily armed 😮 ............Peace..........joe

Pre-WWII, Germany was in a state of despair. It was a country with a grim outlook on their future and no hope. This is what enabled Hitler, and caused the people to become susceptible. That's not the case with the U.S. We're split pretty evenly, politically speaking. Hitler would not have been able to succeed if half the people opposed his rhetoric. I'm not WWII expert by any means, but it appears an overwhelming majority of the population were perfectly fine with whatever he said, because it provided a sense of desperate hope that they were yearning for. They were willing to follow him, wherever it may lead them. I don't see that happening here. There would be a massive revolt by our own government, and from the popular vote lefties, as we've seen with the McCabe revelations that Trump's own team was ok with invoking the 25th.

This is happening. The manipulation of social media by the Russians is on record and proveable, heck, at this point, they are openly bragging about it.
Now, I have no idea if Trump is directly connected to that or if he even needs to be. That's for others to investigate and let us regular schmoes know what they found.

If there was some kind of coup and Trump became dictator for life, no more elections, all opposition crushed, the hardcore Trump brutish brownshirts would be more than happy to sh!tcan democracy, and let the Trump family dynasty rule for the next few hundred years. There are parallels between Nazi Germany and the fascist groundswell we are seeing. It might even be a continuation of the same reaction against the discomfort and individual responsibilities of liberalism. Nazism was a double-whammy reaction to both a failure of capitalism and the threat of Soviet communism gaining strength and favor across Europe as it reeled from the WW1 blowout. "Free" countries were just getting under way, all those revolutions against monarchy had just happened.
A backslide into tyranny could easily happen, if not with Trump, then some other popular figure - it is just a matter of time before the world returns to empire. Most of the "free world" was under monarchy just a little over a century ago. Historically that is a split second.
Sounds strange, but tyranny has been the status quo for millenia, American democracy is a flash in the pan, a brief footnote to history that is going to fade at some point, perhaps soon. We just take it for granted because we grew up in democracy, and 200 years seems like a long time, but it is nothing, a brief political experiment, heavily dependent on a comfortable well-educated merchant class, which is rapidly becoming history. Democracy demands enlightenment, and vice versa, as the Age of Enlightenment brought forth democracy. As the Great Dumbdown progresses, democracy will fail. It cannot function in a world of superstition, ignorance, and fear.

Trump is not pure evil....he’s just a dysfunctional child not fit for office. As horrible as he is, their end goals and intent are obviously very different. But has Trump mimicked many of Hitler’s persuasion techniques? Absolutely. Nobody is saying Trump is a violent psychopath, calm down.
AHC, American Heroes Channel used to be the Military Channel. I think the Military Channel title was more fitting.
Trump comes from a background of always getting what he wants, never being challenged or questioned on his decisions so I think that is where it mostly comes from. I really don't think he shares any aspirations or goals of history's most infamous dictators.

Could you show me WHERE there is any RACIST comments by Trump. Sure, there are the geographical mistakes, but I still haven't read anything in any of the tweets that was of a racist nature.
Well, i did see where several times through the tweet streams where white people were called supremacists and racist misogynists, but haven't seen anything Trump tweeted that was racist in nature, even though CNN says he did.
