By the same Token, guessin you're not too familiar w/his music -- it's been around a lot longer than his columns 😮 -- peace, good wknd

Unfortunately, true. I don't think CD's music is very good.

Love Charlie's stuff -- it's all in what one hears -- I dig their song American Farmer (CDB's) -- his ode to his ranch in Twin Pines Theme -- their take of Jimmy Dean's Big Bad John -- of course Wooley Swamp -- I have his religion-oriented "The Door" CD & like it a lot -- 1st song, The Business Of Love

StratDal chek out Redneck Fiddlin Man -- they cover Much musical terrain in 5 min --
Midnight Train is another good CDB 'sampler' type song -- it's all good bro

Will do. Thanks.

I would say, his column would better reflect his feelings NOW, more than a song he wrote 30 or 40 years ago. peace, have a fine weekend!.

I lost all respect for him after his born again decision to change the lyrics to his songs like Long Haired Country Boy.

Used to see him and Marshall Tucker regularly in the 70's, saw him at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo in 79.

Wouldn't pay to see him now, wasn't happy he opened for ZZ Top, too many maga morons in the crowd.
