Total federal workers when Obama took office: 2,786,000
Total federal workers when Obama left office 8 years later: 2,804,000
An increase of less than 1% in 8 years. Almost all of Obama's job gains were in the private sector, and it represented the longest streak of job growth in history.
Oh, and although Mule would like you to think that Trump’s great negotiation skills have helped the trade deficit, it has not. The trade deficit has increased both years under Trump.
And although budget deficits should decrease during a growing economy (like they did during Obama's presidency), the budget deficit is about to explode each and every year for the foreseeable future due to tax cuts to the rich.
