I just discovered this trio via an email from bandcamp. Instrumental surf-rock coolness...

Par Avion pays homage to the Paul Johnson classic "Squad Car" at 2017's first Surfin' Sunday in their signature half-speed fashion.

Another smokin' surf-rocker for a Sunday...

Slacktone performing "The Bells of St. Kahuna" at Huntington Beach pier. Dave Wronski guitar, Dusty Watson drums, Sam Bolle bass, keeping it wet on a hot summer day.

This was delivered this morning by my friendly Amazon driver....

UFO

U.F.O are one of my all time favourite bands, and to finally get  hold of all the shows that the original live album was culled from is pure heaven.

R.I.P Pete and Paul, what a legacy you leave behind.

I'm digging the new `last' Pretty Things CD. This is an acoustic, rootsy

affair featuring the late Phil May and guitarist Dick Taylor. It is excellent

and exactly the type of album that Gregg and Dickey should have recorded

and toured behind.

Thanks for mentioning that album. I didn't know about that one. I've been a fan of the Pretty Things for many years. I'll have to find it and give it a listen.

The World of Sonny Boy Williamson. One of the first Blues albums I ever bought in the early 90s. One time I drove from the Detroit area to Chicago and kept playing it over and over. Love the harmonica. 😀

I was listening to the 'TNT' album by Tortoise, several days ago, and just discovered this video of the band playing the entire album from start to finish...
