Instrumental Illness - that must be interesting, looking forward to hearing how they do this.

it was pretty good. the opening act was the backup band, violin, standup bass and a banjo. there were only around 500 people so the place seemed empty. it felt like a rehearsal or something. the place holds 2800 I think. lots of people taking flash pictures too, that was annoying. if someone yelled something out everyone heard it, so there was some interaction between the drunks and the stage. gil landry was ok, not great.
warren was good but it was a pretty mellow show considering the material. the drunks were going pretty good by that time with some being kinda rude. warren just shook it off. towards the end of the show some idiot jumped up on stage and walked up to warren in the middle of a song. warren didn't see him until he got close. the guy stuck out his hand to shake warren's and warren without missing a note shook the guys hand and went back to playing. the guy turned around and walked back offstage, security finally woke up about the time he got off of the stage. this really tripped warren out as before the next song he was wandering around onstage just shaking his head with a smile of disbelief really .
I had great seats, front row, but on the far left side right in front of the PA. there were only 3 seats in my row and I was the only one there. it was like sitting in my living room watching.

I thought about going, but I was down there the night before and saw Plant. I wonder how well Warrens tour is selling.
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

The Warner Theatre show in DC is a little over half sold. Maybe not even that much because of the Grand Tier is a subscription based model.
I was really excited about the show. I had 4th row aisle seats until Crowd Surge sent me an email saying that "due to construction" I was being re-seated against the wall on the 8th row. I'm certain the construction excuse is a lie and that my original seats will be occupied by someone else the night of the show.
I took the refund and might just skip the show. I've never been screwed like this on a pre-sale before. I attend around 50 shows a year. I can pick and choose where to spend my money.

FYI, the show is available at livedownloads.com. There is also an aud up on etree.
