Listen to this last night when it was time to unwind. They are all fine musicians and I enjoyed their style. The pedal steel was nice and the electric guitar was nice too. Enjoyed it.
Gregg Allman more than once stated he was actually into this kind of music. Gregg's original version of Whipping Post was a slower acoustic ballad.
Berry Oakley came up with a new bass line and Butch changed the time signature and Gregg said the guitar solos kept getting longer and longer. That the ABB changed the song probably too much for me (Gregg).
