jszfunk. Can you imagine standing before 75,000 loving fans with this black Fender Stratocaster and it's fantastic tone and incredible low notes, bending the strings and playing with such emotion and passion with every note just perfect????

I do when I watch this. What if that were me playing that black strat like that in front of a crowd that big!! Hopefully I would continue to be my respectful humble self. Not a cocky egotistical jerk that this level of play and audience appreciation could lend itself. Thinking as Joe Biden would say " I'm a big ******* deal!!"

This is one of the most emotional guitar solos I've heard. Too bad Roger Waters had to leave and still bad mouths this man.

To be honest... Floyd has never done anything for me. I respect Gilmour for his talent and emotive playing, but that's about it.

@jszfunk Well yeah Gilmore is one of the best guitarists we've had. I love Money, Brick in the Wall and the guitar solo on Comfortably Numb but don't really get into several of their songs myself.

But tons of people do. Their albums have sold many millions of copies and they, like all super bands, can draw 75,000 people to a show. Amazing.

Roger quit in 1985 because he couldn't take working with people who wanted to write material and they are not good writers.

Just a few weeks ago Roger said in an interview that none of the other guys in Pink Floyd can write and have never written anything worth a darn.

@jszfunk This is excellent guitar playing. Great bending and on top vibrato.  Crosby and Nash on stage too.
