I'm really enjoying this disc. A great counter point to Warren's "Ashes & Dust". Knopfler mixes up a lot of musical styles.
Does anyone besides me here sketches of Miles in the first tune "Laughs and Jokes and Drinks and Smokes"?

On my first listen I thought Mark was gonna lay down some be-bop. It was surprising to hear that jazz turn into a celtic rag! Great music all the way through. I got my copy as part of the early bird VIP ticket for the upcoming show (51 days and counting) in St. Augustine. The VIP seats were sold sight-unseen, but I ended up with 4th row dead center! Can't wait!
