So I picked up a copy of the Jesse Colin Young `best of' on Rhino a few weeks ago
and I was struck by the similarities between his song `Light Shine' and those of Warren's
`Soulshine'. I won't go as far as to say they are the same song because that would be a
lie.....BUT, the two songs are eerily similar. In fact, if I was Jesse I would probably
contact my lawyer. Now, it's possible that Warren has never heard the Jesse Colin
Young tune.....but, again, to these untrained ears they sound a lot alike. Maybe this
has been discussed before, has it? The Jesse Colin Young song is
from 1974....
