Have a great day everyone

VERY confusing post. You ask for the chords for a song that someone named Corey Stevens wrote for Gregg and you don't even mention the name of the song? GOOD LUCK.

I'm guessing the song title is "The Brothers".

Too funny...
The Brothers
Written By Corey Stevens
To my brother and the good times we had
I sing this song
There's never been another so bad
Lord I've had to carry on
I've walked a lonely road and
I've wondered where I might I have been
Without the brothers, you and me
The brothers to the end
It seems like only yesterday you had
A guitar in your hands
Playing like your life depended on it
In the battle of the bands
We fought and won our wars and
We wondered where we might have been
Without the brothers, you and me
The brothers to the end
Bridge:
A twist of fate took you away
I've tried so hard to forget that day
Can't hide this hurt, I'll carry it with me to my grave
Cause in my heart, that's where the brothers stay

No offense, but I hope that it is better musically than lyrically.

I'd definitely agree with you Wareagle. No wonder Gregg passed on it. I have to admit my interest was peaked, but try as I may I couldn't find the tune "The Brothers" by Corey Stevens on YouTube. Refresh my memory ... Corey Stevens was a school teacher who could play uncannily like SRV before everybody and his brother. After his initial success with "Blue Drops of Rain" suffered the backlash for being a SRV ripoff. I always found it funny that KWS and Henry Garza of Los Lonely Boys although obviously guilty never suffered the same fate. Oh course Stevie never ripped anybody off ... NOT! Can you say Albert King ... Anyway it appears Mr. Stevens isn't back teaching and still plying his craft although terribly pedestrian from what I've heard searching for this "gem" called "The Brothers."

No offense, but I hope that it is better musically than lyrically.
Good grief, OK so you don't know the song or the chords. Thanks. I f I need a negative nancy I'll keep listening to my inner voices.
Nope, don't know the song or the chords. Was just commenting on the lyrics. It's ok to have different opinions.
Why get so offended that someone didn't like the lyrics that you delete your posts and change the subject?

I don't know if lyrics are that big of a deal to Gregg, after all he didn't pass on "I'm No Angel".

Now here's where we differ Wareagle. "I'm No Angel" is a great song IMO. Love the tune and had way big fun to it. And Gregg sings it like he means it ... still to this day. 😛

No doubt he means it.
I think it's the "let me show you my tattoo" line that does it for me.

I don't think he's talking about his tattoo ... 😉
