I saw the announcement and was planning to go, but it would just be too much for a bus ticket and $125. Usually ticket prices don't bother me, but this just seems too much. Is the venue very small and intimate??

City Winery seats 300 people. Bad sight lines but a good sound system. No minimum purchase required. Venue is easy to get to. Several different subway lines are close by. Very close to the Holland Tunnel. Those prices are much higher than usual!!! 😮

The seating up front is pretty cramped, agree with Eileen about the sound system.

JEEEEZ, that's pricey. I'm seeing Gregg @ The Sonoma Music Festival on October 4th. Of course it won't be nearly as intimate, but still, Doobie Brothers w/ Michael McDonald, Edgar Winter and Tommy Castro are also on the bill. I paid $96.50 each including all fees for GA reserved.

Those prices at City Winery are similar to what they get here in the Bay area at Phil Lesh's club in Marin, Terrapin Station.

For $175, do you get to share a shower?!

I'll take a pass for those prices. I just saw Gregg, the Doobies, Bruce Hornsby, Bernie Williams, and Jaimoe's Jazz Band all in one day for less than the cheapest seat for these shows and I had a very good seat. I know it's a very small venue but those prices are crazy and I bet those are pre fees prices.

Since when did Warren start going under the name "Special Guest"?

I'll pass at those prices as well. IMHO Gregg and his own band isn't worth that much. Just saw Gregg at PNC 14th row for free.

It's just as well that you're passing; the website links take you to a page that simply lists the ticket prices. There is no BUY link. WTF.

Pretty sure they almost completely sold out all 5 nights in the City Winery pre-sale.
