"DREAMS" Randall Bramblett Band // Macon Grand Opera House
Outstanding! Looks like Nick Johnson is still on guitar. Without a close-up - is that Mike Steele on bass?
@rusty I saw Randall at a little theatre in Virginia about five years ago and that looks like the same guitar player. I remember he played a Strat and he was very good on lead and slide.
I asked Randall about Chuck Leavell and he said Chuck was an incredible musician whom he worked with on two Gregg Allman tours and later Randall was invited by Chuck to join Sea Level.
Randall is a fine keyboard player himself and excellent on saxophone.
Nice version, miss Gregg's voice, musicianship sweet. Randall needs to find a vocalist but wow on the sax.
Guitarist captured it.

I was prepared to get all snarky, but it is the Holiday season. For me, Randall is among the finest vocalists out there. Like Jack Pearson, he's the "whole package" - singer, songwriter, keys, sax, guitar ... I can't think of anything that he doesn't do well. Check out his solo stuff!

I've always liked Randall's vocals from the early days with Boyer & Talton, then Sea Level, then his own band. Luckily I've seen him a good handful of times. A little grit in his voice goes a long ways.
If I had to pick out one album of his that would be my favorite, it would be "That Other Mile" which I believe was his first solo effort????
