Trombone player Dick Nash is 97 years old today!!
Happy birthday Dick.
I played trombone in high school and remember seeing Dick Nash on Trombone in the Benny Goodman band twice in the 1970's.
Dick was as smooth as Tommy Dorsey. Take a listen!!

Here are the words to The Shadow Of Your Smile. It's actually the theme from the movie "The Sandpiper" starring Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton and Charles Bronson. It came out in 1966 and I saw it first run.

I saw the movie too. Don't remember much about the storyline, but fell in love with Big Sur.
