Gotten through a good chunk and it's a great chat. I don't follow Gov't Mule or Warren's solo music, but he's always wonderful to listen talk about music and his journey.

In another interview he talked about how album sales now are minus a zero. If your band usually sold a million copies now it would be 100,000. If it usually sells 100,000 copies of a new album, now it's 10,000.
That means the first Allman Brothers Band which sold a disappointing 30,000 copies would have sold 3,000 copies if were released today... about what the Hourglass album did and it would sell 300 copies.
A 300 copies album would sell 30 and a 30 would now sell 3 and the 3 would now sell zero. Indeed they would get stuck with holding 30 more than they had pressed.
Very good & thoughtful answers from Warren. Didn't really care for the interviewers style...
Warren was very complimentary of Dickey... those two really tore it up in the 90's
