Bob Dylan -"License to Kill"

Here's a studio video from the great Infidels album .. http://www.totallyfuzzy.net/ourtube/bob-dylan/license-to-kill-video_59cf3a4f2.html
What a group .. Mark Knopfler. Mick Taylor, Sly and Robbie ..

The concert album from this tour, "Real live," gets no respect, but the live version of "License to Kill" on it is terrific. Mick Taylor is always wonderful when he stretches out, but he is also excellent at delivering the perfect short solo, the beautiful mini statement that says it all in a small space. That is what he delivers on the live "License to Kill."

This used to be on YouTube, but disappeared some time back. Always loved this video - thanks for posting.
Knopfler fills in with some nice riffage throughout.
Tom Petty played it at the 30th Dylan anniversary...

Thanks for the recommendation. I think I'll get it from Amazon as it's only $5.99

I never saw this before and it was posted on the Americana Facebook page and I noticed it wasn't on youtube, That 30th Anniversary show was wonderful too.

Man, thanks for posting this! I'd never seen it. Just emailed it to a dozen friends.

Well worth searching for is the 2 cd bootleg Rough Cuts, which has outtakes from the Infidels sessions with great hard to find songs like Foot Of Pride and Julius & Ethel

Thanks for another good recommendation. Here's a song from it called Clean Cut Kid ...

As much as I love Infidels and Knopfler's production I wish more of those songs got this more ragged treatment.
This is one of my favorite all time Letterman moments. It's sloppy but so good.
Typical Bob. Promoing an album by sounding nothing like it.
I'm hoping there's a bootleg series release of the Infidels sessions in the works. Along with Blood on the Tracks. His last 2 from the Basement Tapes and Self Portrait era were great.
