Oh My God!!!  I won't say more, just watch it!!  Obviously right off the soundboard, a one hour 8 minute set.  What a find...........

That was fun this afternoon Robslob. I remember then opening for the Allman Brothers in the mid 1990s. They could really make a charge.

They had a Brothers and Sisters moment in 1994 with their fourth album Four. It was a surprise super seller like the Allman Brothers Brothers and Sisters. It sold over 6 million copies. But they never had a huge album since and their label A&M after making a ton of money off Four dropped them about 2002.

Then the popular Bass player Bob Sheehan died at age 31 of an accidental overdose of heroin, cocaine and valium. Apparently he got way to high on heroin and coke and took some valium to calm himself down and it killed him.

Don't think they've had a new album since 2007. I could be wrong. I really got into them in the 90's but eventually got tired of them. Too much harmonica.

But it's been several years so it was really great to hear that 1995 show.

Gregg Allman sang on a track on their 3rd album and Warren Haynes played slide guitar and pedal steel guitar on several of their albums and Chuck Leavell is on one.

@robertdee:  Glad you enjoyed the show!  Sheehan actually died in 1999, several years before A&M dumped them.  But something else happened in 1999 which probably contributed to that as well.  Wikipedia:

"In 1999, (John Popper) suffered a near-fatal heart attack brought on by years of compulsive overeating. (He had been diagnosed with diabetes a few years earlier.) Doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center[18] performed an emergency angioplasty which saved Popper's life; he had 95% arterial blockage.[19] Popper later underwent gastric bypass surgery and lost a significant amount of weight.[20] "

I saw them recently, nearly certain it was summer 2017 at an outdoor show here in San Jose.  Original guitarist Chad Kinchla is still with them along with Popper of course.  They are still an extremely potent live act!!

Hard to believe 30+ years into the game that the entire original lineup minus Bobby Sheehan who died in 1999 is still together. The only changes were Chan's brother Tad taking over on bass and adding a keyboard player.
