Are there any good ABB tribute bands out there?

How sad that this is what I'm now looking for. But a friend of mine mentioned he's going to see a Talking Heads tribute band, so it got me thinking about an ABB act. Some can be good. I saw "Get the led out", and it was fun. They played at an actual venue, which I think is a mistake because I'd rather not sit in a seat and watch them like a real band. but if they performed in a bar-type setting, it would be a way better experience.
Have you seen any tribute acts and were they any good? And if there is an ABB act, please let me know. Thanks.

Check out the Vines. I put out a show by Poor Man's Whiskey. They do a great set of ABB songs.
I think they cover them fine.

Sorry, don't know of any good ABB tribute bands.
My favorite tribute band is a Beatles tribute band named The Fab Faux.
They don't do the costume look alike and exact voice sound alike schtick.
They play the whole gamut of songs from early to late.
They replicate live some great intricate songs like 'I am the Walrus', 'Strawberry Fields', 'Tomorrow Never Knows'.
Bunch of stuff on Youtube.
Jimmy Vivino is the guitarist. He has guested several times over the years with the ABB at The Beacon.
Will Lee is the bass player from David Letterman's Late Show Paul Shaffer Band.
With their rising popularity over the years their ticket prices have risen also.

Jack has played with the Midnight Riders in Nashville a few times. I've never heard them but if they're good enough for Jack, they've gotta be pretty good.
Reece Wynans has sat in with them, too.

I don't remember the name, but there was a tribute band that Butch sat in with a few years ago. the Peacheaters in the northeast do a very respectable job on many ABB tunes.
Brit Bloyd does Pink Floyd better live than Floyd did.

Absjn you may be thinking of Great Caesar's Ghost. they're a Manhatten/Long Island group of studio musicians who play around the Long Island area three or four times a year. they're not strictly an ABB cover band but play a lot of Dead & ABB covers and do them very very well.
& Butch has sat in with them on occasion. They have a website and HTN sells their cd's! try here:

Freestone Peaches is a VERY good Bay area ABB tribute band, I've seen them twice. Probably not quite as good since Goldtop left the band a year or so ago, but I would still expect them to be good. They had a local gig as recently as 10/22. Then there is South 46.............very good ABB tribute band. Both bands gigs are kind of sporadic as members of both have multiple projects going on. Both bands have a guy who just sings and they are both very good.

this band played some abb at al paul's book signing at eddie's attic. very authentic, but I don't know how much abb they would play at a "regular" gig--

These guys are the best ABB cover band I know

Really good. One of the better tributes I've heard. Timing is right on.

And great tone...
I can see it now. The next British invasion turns youth on to the "southern rock" classics, which then sends youth back to the original artist that performed the American music they heard being played by groups from Europe.
The more things change...the more they stay the same. 😛

Wow, that was SPOT ON! I hope they get good paying gigs, they'll need it with 8 guys in the band.

Midnight riders Nashville are very good.
They played my event at Soulshine in Pizza last May... special guests included jack P., Johnny Neel, Greg Martin (Kentucky Headhunters) and John Cowan.. and me (Hey it was my gig!).
