Not thats it an issue, but I have noticed when I have dropped by just to see if there are any new posts , it seems like the site is not updating its list of topics on what was posted and responded to most currently.....unless you are logged in . Then it will. Maybe its on my end.

Thanks

Have noticed that - also it’s never said anything but “no online members at the moment”

occasionally when I go to log in, am already logged in - just little stuff like that🤙

Ok, thanks. Not that its a big deal, just checking. I am just dangerous enough to Google something and thats about it!

I am having the same issue and reached out to Rowland. He wasn't completely surprised that topics were not updating if not logged in. It seems problematic in that it discourages traffic. You come by and check out the site, there is nothing new, so no reason to log in.

Rowland posted this when the new site went up:

https://allmanbrothersband.com/community/announcements/new-server-let-me-know-about-problems/

When you don't log in, there are a couple of places where content is cached. Your browser, the content delivery network (a worldwide system of computers that hold static content to speed delivery to you) and the server where the website lives. With the recent switch to a completely different hosting platform for this site (and knock on wood, performance has been better and consistent), it can take a little while for the caches to get back in synch.

When you login, you are served content directly from the server.

In practice, you shouldn't notice the difference. One thing to try is to refresh / reload the page in your browser, that could fix it. But I have a hunch the server change may have contributed and this would be a temporary problem.
