seems like they've been rolling through the greater Boston area late in the year for a few years running... and this feels like a continuation of Derek's band doing the same, I recall Somerville Theater shows in November/December more than once?

I'd love to see the Orpheum become an annual year closing / non-NYE thing, as it appears the Nashville, DC & Chicago are becoming for the beginning of the year.

last year this was announced after the summer Wheels of Soul area shows, hoping for a late July announcement.

We only went Saturday last year, but plan to do at least 2 nights this year. had some lovely crisp cold winter weather and a hotel walking distance to the North End, Trillium Brewing, and the venue (OK it was a long walk...)
