I finally made the great pilgrimage from Southern California to the historic Beacon Theater this last Wednesday evening, October 22, 2014; I night I will never forget. Quite the adventure to get here with the original date scheduled this last March. We were literally on our way to the airport when we got word that the shows were to rescheduled to a later date due to Gregg's unfortunate case of bronchitis. As things turn out, the new date in October would mean a double celebration for my wife and I as the night before, October 21, we celebrated an anniversary of our own, 25 years of marriage! Words cannot express how much the Allman Brothers have meant to me over the years in all of their formations and as solo artists. There is so much more to their music than simply lyrics and melodies, it is definitely something more spiritual which I am sure I don't have to tell any of you who are reading this. I am sending a personal thank you to Gregg, Warren, Derek, Butch, Jaimoe, Oteil, and Marc for putting on a show for the ages and pray that there may be a reunion show at the Beacon one day in the future. You can count me in!

Sincerely,

Brother B
