and id give it slim to none for a real one.....

I've never made the exchange at the scan.
The chances of a fake ticket in this day and age is very real.

The only way to go. If the seller is honest and the ticket is real, this should be no problem.
That is the only way I would buy a ticket on the street.
Too many fakes out there.
