For Trade: Who for Allmans

I'm an old time Allmans head, in desperate need for just one ticket for myself for the last show, 10/28. I have two hard to get tickets for The Who at the Forest Hills Tennis Stadium for 5/30/15 that I would gladly trade for just 1 ticket (any ticket) to the 10/28 show. please let me know. you can text me anytime at 917 882 6217 thanks!

Did you buy the tickets and join this forum just to trade them?

you know, I resent your reply, implicating that I'm not a true fan, or just specifically went out and got Who tickets for this particular purpose. the fact of the matter is that I'm a 50 year old deadhead/allmans head...more of a deadhead, which is why I never registered on this forum before. I've seen greater than 50 allmans shows over the years, and all I know is that I'm going to the last show, hell or high water...I signed up on this website so that I could get in on the presale, which unfortunately I was not able to get a ticket...I then had my cousin, who is in the industry, who said he should be able to get me a ticket, and alas it fell through due to such high demand. I actually bought these two Who tickets for me and my wife...luckily I had gotten an email to get in on the presale since I am a citi card member...I had just been to the Forest Hills tennis stadium to see Phil and friends with Warren, and the place was amazing, so I was particularly psyched to go back, and I'm an old Who fan...even though its just Pete and Roger and even though they are just playing their hits, I'm psyched for the venue. When my ticket connection for 10/28 fell through, I thought that this might be a different way to try and get a 10/28 ticket instead of just posting a regular ad for "need one for the 28th"...my wife is not too psyched 'cause she really wants to see the Who...but I told her this takes priority and I will get more Who tickets. So there you have it...in my eyes this all seems perfectly reasonable...I just wanna get 1 ticket so I can be there for the last show...just like you. So, please, be nice...it doesn't hurt

Resent my reply all you want dude. First post is an offer of a trade of something less in demand? I call a spade a spade

And I bought a ticket to the "last show" when they went on sale btw.

And The Who at Forest Hills you can get into for about $100 - on scalper sites. The 10/28 show.......

not looking to do any lopsided trade...never my intention...just figured someone out there might like Who tickets as an option along with cash...I'd obviously be willing to add cash in any trade...would discuss details of any trade with anyone who is interested. Again, just be nice...so what if it's my first post...I really want a ticket and am exploring all my avenues. You are very fortunate that you did get a ticket to the last show...I guess your computer is faster than mine.

I noticed you have 1439 posts. You should get an award for being the lead troll on this site. You act as if you are the mother hen but seriously, I have to believe you are 1 lonely fella. You ought to find a hobby, maybe get out for a walk or volunteer somewhere, do something positive and make a difference. I know that something has to be eating at you. Why else you would you spend so much time picking fights with people and pretending like there is some sort of code that has to be followed here? Seriously - its a message board. Learn to live and let live a little. More people will like you, which would be a positive change for you. What do you think? Making sense?

Blah blah blah. "I'm a big ABB fan but I want to trade $100 for a ticket to 10/28" have a nice life.
And by the way - you know nothing about me. All I know is you joined this site JUST to try and get a 10/28 ticket despite you're a "long time Allman fan". Go see how many fellow fans - a bunch who know me and WHY I have "so much time" - offer you a ticket for $100 after your tirade. there's no "code" but in general people who join this site looking for 10/28 tickets don't have much luck. I'll tell you what, wait for the DVD so you can see me waving to you from the close seats.

Gotta say that I agree with hyrams72. If no one wants the Who tix, then no one will respond to his request for a trade. No harm, no foul.
