10/22 Setlist

And lol Gregg - I thought you said "no guests"
The stupid, it burns! He was talking about guest musicians, not friends and family.
To lose Whipping Post for another One Way out. I would have not loved that but I guess time management.
We got a Mountain Jam instead, though. They moved a couple of songs around and Mountain Jam is probably a bit longer than Jessica. This was a short-ish Mountain Jam but it still lasted 20 minutes and I thought it was a really good one.
Good to hear. I didn't really post that as any kind of criticism. I had gotten my friend row D seats in the center and they loved the show. Some of these weird expectations are surprising to me and yeah the post about no guests is quite odd as there were none. I read some of this stuff this morning and thought and some wonder why there are not that many people posting here any more. There were hundreds of posts on twitter that would have filled up page after page on a forum layout and the posts were filled with excitement and for alot of people sadness that it is coming to an end.

Can I be your friend?

Great show last night, enjoyed it more then the first night, Gregg still struggling with alot of songs, the break between last song and encore was like 10 minutes everyone was waiting for Gregg which is why they didn't do the whipping post. bathroom break? shows have been fun, but once again it just doesn't feel like its one of the last shows, there is really no celebration or anything different from any other beacon show. was just hoping for more, something special. it was also supposed to be the 45th anniversary show that got cancelled in march. would have loved to see a different album every night, like eat a peach, or something just to mark the end of the road, but nothing like that. well, see you guys Friday.

What is funny is I signed into one browser in my account and one in his and sure enough in the amex presale landed on seats for him. I made note to self, never sign in beforehand under those circumstances.

Thank you for the set list.

it's funny how I thought last night was very weak show . greggs vocals sucked compared to opening night . the playing was good at times but all in all very weak show . I am on the same page as you as there is nothing to this run as being the last 6 shows band just looks like there going threw the motions and just want to get these shows over with . I real would like to see them drop all the cover tunes the warren Haynes band tunes the Gregg allman and friends tunes and start busting out allman brothers songs . they are saying they don't want any guest for this run and go out as the allman brothers but they really should start digging into the allman brothers catalog well that my 2 cents .

once again it just doesn't feel like its one of the last shows, there is really no celebration or anything different from any other beacon show.
It's one of their last shows and they're giving the audience 2.5 to 3 hours of unadulterated Allman Brothers Band every night. They'll play the best they can play and that's the only thing that matters, so who needs anything else?

Ugh. They've already done that a bunch of times over the years and at least once this year, so that's not even special. The idea of the band playing Win Lose or Draw for its last show is kind of hilarious, though. By the time they got to Louisiana Lou the place would be 2/3rds empty or worse.

Sounds like the crowd was loving the opening!
