I am also sorry to hear about your dog.
I have been in this situation many times actually, it never is easy and also any animal owner most likely has been faced with it, not insinuating I am the only one, but I always remember what a wise Vet told me one time, she said that our beloved animals look up to us as decision makers, they trust us to make the right decision for them.

Looks like my 5 cd changer has finally bit the dust. Decided that I should upgrade my system, because I am worth it.....
Ordered an Oppo 105D universal player - plays all cd's, SACD's, DVD-A, Dvd's, and Blu-rays. It will replace my Pioneer SACD player and Sony Blu-ray player, along with the cd player. It is supposed to have superb audio, especially for the SACD multi-channel sound. Supposed to get here this week - can't wait.........
Also supposed to see Buddy Guy Saturday night with TopDroog.............
Golfing Friday, but I might try to hit Bluesfest - although it might rain Friday....
