How did you like Gilmour?

He proved why he is one of the great guitarist. I really liked the set list and thought he killed the newer tunes. The Floyd classics where good to see live. Only complaint was that the people behind me complained when I stood up for one song in the first set.

Probably like a total solar eclipse. 😛 What really chaps my ass is when the ONLY asshole in the whole venue who is standing up and insists that it is his right to block the view of all those behind him is always right in front of me. And the chick who wants to carry on an inane conversation about whatever is always right behind me. In both cases, I will say something.

I expect to stand when I go see Gov't Mule or the Crowes - or the ABB at the Beacon if I am on the floor. But, if you are in the fucking Ryman and John Prine is playing or the Tennessee and Jason Isbell is playing and YOU are the only one standing, show some consideration for the other people in attendance.

Not saying that was what you were doing, Bigfoot, just venting a little.

At Roger Waters The Wall, several people in front of me were standing, so I was standing. Dude sitting behind me actually grabbed my shoulders and tried to move me to the side. Almost didn't end well.

I can see that not being received very well.

I try to figure out what the section I'm in is going to do before standing. If people are seated I'll sit but being as big as I am I cramp up. Instead of standing at my seat I should go to the aisle.

See, you are considerate of others. I am talking about the only dickweed in the whole room who is standing because "By gawd, I paid for this ticket."

I was in a relaxed frame of mind, however, one of the guys I was with is the buddy who is the classic "Instant A-Hole, Just Add Alcohol" type. He got way more upset about it than I did. 😛

Aah one of the great old concert questions. Standing or sitting. A buddy of mine from Michigan came here one time and I took him and THB to the RIV to see Mule. We got there early and went upstairs (it is all general admission). These guys came in after us and sat down right behind us. I was up and dancing. This guy behind me was pissed that I was standing. It got to the point where I think my friend was going to go after him.

I told my friend I didn't want to get him out of Cook County Jail so just let it go.

I think it was two days after Xmas too.
😉

Good Morning, Tigers start tonight in Miami. Still seems weird to start the season with interleague play.
